I am writing for my boyfriend who has recently been circumcised (2 days ago). He has never been able to retract his foreskin and has never been able to touch the head of his penis. He says that when he tries to touch the head of his penis it feels like an open wound. It has been this way since he can remember and suffers from major discomfort.
He is 23 years old and has never had sexual intercourse, this being because he can't even have any contact to the head of his penis.
Now that he has had the circumcision he is in excruciating pain because the head is now exposed.
We've tried topical ointments to try numbing the head, but nothing seems to work!
What could this feeling be caused by? Is it just because the head has never been touched or exposed? Why does he suffer from that burning sensation (open wound feeling)? He can't even let his plastic surgeon touch his penis. The plastic surgeon said that he's never seen a case like this in all his many years of practice.
Can you please help??

Heya. Sounds similar to my problem, have a look at my previous posts. I just dont have phimosis, which would have then led to circumcision. What you could suggest to his doc is Betamethasone Valerate Cream. It's a topical corticosteroid that when used on conditions of 'glans hypersentivity' should reduce the sensitivity by thinning the skin and reducing the nerve endings that are contacted during friction or touch
