I have recently had a problem with my penis retracting. I am very short anyway, about 2 inches, but when this happens, I'm not more than 3/4 in, and the penis seems to be stuck inside the skin. I am circumcized, and I have never had the slightest problem. The foreskin has been plenty loose. It still is when my penis is not retracted, and it doesn't seem tight when I have an erection. I'm 44 and not planning on being finished with sex. This is a very irritating problem, and it seems to be happening more and more often - almost every time I go to the bathroom. Obviously, I'm so short that I would love to be even an inch longer, but I sure don't want to give up what little length I have. Can anyone help?
Hi mate! I can’t relate to your story especially because you say you are circumcised…What is there to retract then? Are you saying that your foreskin goes over your glans even though you’re circumcised?

When did this start happening? Did it happen all of a sudden or it came gradually?

Are you 2 inches in erection or flaccid?

To be honest, I am confused…let me know if I understood your problem correctly if not, please give me some more details, so I can analyze it!

is there anyone except Danny out there who can help me?

I am experiencing the same thing. It started when medicines were changed and I gained 30 pounds in two to three months due to prednisone. So for me I can see it is either the weight gain, medications or a combination of the two.

First, I think Danny had good intentions but, could work on the bedside manner. In regards to your problem I am assuming 2 inches is from pubic mound to the tip of the penis head. Correct? According to what your body mass index is, you could be covering up a quite normal organ. The larger the mound the less penis showing, (pubic mound is found by lying on your back and pull up on the fatty tissue (beer gut if you will) in between the base of the penis and your waist (crevice where beer gut stops). (By the way) Men's waist's are from underneath that "six pack abbs" pull belly up and measure from waist (where fat hits body, under belly button) to the Mons Pubis. (The fat above your Penis.) The more fat, the less visible penis. All of the answers are correct here.
I have the same problem 173 cm tall 141kg weight and BMI of 60 the safe zone being 18 to 25. Psychological problems depression, bi-polar, ptsd, don't help, Yo Yo dieting won't help, other health issues, CHF, COPD, Pulmonary difficulties, high blood pressure, glaucoma, diabetes's, I could go on forever, but you get the gest. The very easy but not simple way is to loose weight. I guarantee a sharp decline in Sugar, White flour, And anything fried, leafy greet vegetables, will remove weight, Quickly. I hear all the get healthy, feel better, live longer, diet after diet. But, I assure you, nothing other than lengthening and seeing that organ longer is like any other motivation.
I don't normally answer these things because it is dangerous to diagnose without seeing the patient, I just felt compelled. Mainly because I have the same exact disease. Very good luck to you, I just noticed this was 5 years old. Well it was freeing to write. Faith and good health to all.

Hi I'm 13 years old and I'm worried every time i am erect i have trouble retracting my foreskin and when i mean trouble is that i cannot do it. When my penis is soft i can easily retracted but not when is erect. An that is making it a bit hard to masturbate. Any solution with out a going to the doctor or getting eny type of cream .Since i am realy scared to tell my parent to go to the doctor for that.

Hi. Although I haven’t had your problem myself, I have known boys and men who have. The problem you are describing is called phimosis. If you can retract your foreskin enough to see your glans (head of penis) when soft, but not when erect, I suspect it may be an easy fix once addressed by someone with knowledge. You definitely don’t want to get your foreskin stuck behind your glans! That’s a painful and even more embarrassing situation.
You said you don’t want to go to the doctor, which is understandable. But just know, a doctor isn’t going to shame you, he’s there and a professional.
If you don’t want to explain to your mom that “you’ve got trouble down- there”, could you talk with a good and trustable male person? An uncle? A school nurse? A coach? Maybe if you could talk with them, they could help you broach the subject and get things on a good and healthy path.
Good for you to reach out and ask. I hope you get answers and a more comfortable erection in the near future. Best of luck!
