I am litteraly experiancing this problem right now.
Often find that after sex or masterbation a burning sensation occurs in the very tip of my penis, makes me sit for ages on the toilet wanting to pass any urine i have in me. Have been having this on and off, though masterbation, oral sex or vaginal sex.
Just tried washing the tip of my penis with water and sooths a little but it keeps me awake half the night with pain.
Have reacently had a Chlymidia test and came back negative and im 100% posititve my current sexual partner hasnt given it to me as the symptoms are off and on and we are in a long distance relationship and have had it before and after haveing sex with her, and i trust her...
Symptoms seem differnt from others as i feel a need to pass urine desperatly. Admittly i have a hight achohle intake at the minute but this has not always been the case when i experiance the problem. Will try drinking more water but this never seems to help!!!
If anyone has any advice will be greatly appricated!
Thanks

I know this is an old thread, but I saw it. So maybe it can help other people. I've had the same issue for quite some time. I get a burning sensation in my penis and feel like I have to pee. This happens once every couple of months for me. I went to my doctor an got a battery of STD tests done and a Prostate exam(it was not at all a pleasant experiance). My results all came up clean. My doctor basically said that either I'm not getting all the ejaculate out, and it dries up inside...or its prostatitis. Neither of which are really an issue to get worried about. I would still go get checked out, because its good to be safe, but thats what I got. Clean bill of health and a semi-chronic annoying irritation.

My boyfriend also gets pain in his penis and leaks upto an hour after going to the toilet or masterbation. He's 26 and we've been together long before this started, I'm his only sexual partner and I think it has something to do with his diet. He doesn't drink or smoke but drinks alot of pure orange juice and coca cola, lemonade ect... Perhaps it has nothing to do with sex, your problem but the fact that the older you get the less your body can tolerate? Try a new diet.

The most common cause of these complaints is an inflammation of the prostate gland, so called prostatitis. Symptoms that might occur with prostatitis include frequency of urination, slowing of the urinary stream, burning with voiding or ejaculation, burning in the penile tip unrelated to voiding, urethral discharge, sexual dysfunction (such as difficulty with erection), aching in the penis, testicles, and discomfort in the lower abdomen, low back, groin, rectum or perineum (the area between the scrotum and rectum – between the “wind and the rain”) and constipation. The passage of blood at the initiation or termination of urination or in the semen can also be noted. During sexual arousal the prostate gland manufactures fluid that accounts for about 2/3 of the volume of ejaculate. The seminal vesicles are paired structures located behind the prostate gland that also manufacture fluid. Sperm from the testicles (which account for only 1-2% of the semen) travel up a series of tubes (epididymis and vas deferens) on each side to join the seminal vesicles forming the paired ejaculatory ducts. These structures empty into the prostatic portion of the urethra. At the time of ejaculation, fluid is discharged into the urethra (urinary canal) from the prostate gland and ejaculatory ducts forming the semen. The semen volume is in the 2-6 cc range. It is not uncommon for inflammation and/or infection to spread in a retrograde manner into the vas and epididymis. Even without such spread, prostatic discomfort is often referred into the testicle. Too frequent or too infrequent ejaculation, sexual arousal without ejaculation, withdraw at the time of ejaculation, aggressive bike or horse back riding, and excessive spicy foods, alcohol, and caffeine in the diet can predispose you to this. Sitting for long periods of time, especially in an automotive vehicle, can put undo pressure on the prostate and aggravate the condition. For the latter, it is best not to sit more than 2-3 hours at a time. Stop the vehicle periodically, take a short walk and go to the bathroom to urinate. A thick pad or piece of sponge rubber on your seat will also help to cushion the prostate. One should avoid any of the above that apply. Eliminating all of these factors that apply to you are just as important, if not more so, than taking medication! Ejaculation beyond the tolerance of the prostate to fill and empty may also cause discomfort. Likewise if one does so infrequently, fluid still builds up from thoughts, dreams, fantasies, etc. and has to be released periodically to decompress the gland and relieve the symptoms. For most men, ejaculation in moderation, perhaps 1-2 times a week, is reasonable. A daily warm bath for 10-15 minutes 1-2 times daily also lessens the discomfort. Attention to sexual activity and warm bathes should be utilized regardless of the type of prostatitis and whether or not medications are prescribed.
There are several types of prostatitis. Sometimes prostatitis can be due to an infection of the gland with bacteria. This usually requires an initial 4 week course of an appropriate antibiotic (the commonest prescribed are the fluoroquinolones, but tetracyclines, sulfas and other agents can also work). Typically, pus cells and bacteria are found in the prostatic fluid.
Abacterial prostatitis has several varieties. In one, the prostatic fluid demonstrates pus cells but no bacteria. In the other, called prostadynia, there are neither pus cells nor bacteria in the fluid, just the symptoms. In all types of prostatitis, the urinalysis generally is normal unless the infection spreads into the bladder. Abacterial prostatitis usually responds to the general measures mentioned above. Medications that sometimes help include the over-the-counter natural supplement saw palmetto 320 mgm daily and alpha-blockers (such as Flomax, Hytrin, Cardura & Uroxatral). The latter require a prescription from you physician if he thinks it is indicated. Prostatitis may also be classified as acute (severe), subacute (mild), or asymptomatic. It may also occur as a single episode, be recurrent or chronic.
I suggest that you make an appointment to see a urologist in consultation. This condition is a very routine problem and I am sure they can help you. In cases with recurrent prostatitis or hematuria, it often is necessary to study the urinary tract more completely. Predisposing factors to prostatitis such as a urethral stricture (narrowing) and other disorders can then be evaluated.

Well Ive been searching ALL OVER the internet and i have found the cause of the pain - Prostatis, LUCKILY it is nothing serious and just a mere annoyance! Prostatis is inflamation of the prostate (gland found in testicles which produce semen). This inflamation is brought about from a lack of blood flow to the prostate/ testicles. This is brought about by tight jeans/ underwear, bike riding, awkward positioning (enough to prevent bloodflow to testicles), punches in the balls, awkward sitting and ANYTHING to do with squashing your testicles or having them in an awkward position. Resulting in burning sensation, need to urinate constantly, burning on tip of penis, pain in back/testicles/pelvis/lower abdomen (abbs) etc... (not all these symptoms will result, but it can happen)
TO RELIEVE THE PAIN :
1) Sit with legs open to allow an easier blood flow - Move legs about to increase bloodflow - run, swim, (do not try jumping!)
2) Keep testicles and penis cool, I suggest sitting naked, having a cool bath/shower, swim in the pool
3) Urinate to relieve the pain temporarily, try not to keep dribbling small ammounts - make sure ONLY to urinate in toilet as the urea has become toxic from the swelling, due to lack of blood supply (white blooodcells)
4) Drink Plenty of water for relief
5) Painkillers can have some effect for long term pain
Precautions
- DO NOT WEAR TIGHT TROUSERS OR UNDERWEAR
- WHEN CYCLYING OR RIDING YOUR MOTORBIKE MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT PUTTING PRESSURE ON YOUR SCROTUM
- SMOKING AMPLIFIES THE EFFECTS AND IT CAUSES LESS OXYGEN TO REACH PROSTATE - REDUCE SMOKING OR QUIT, DOESNT HELP
- DO NOT MASTURBATE OR HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE TOO OFTEN (more than 4 times a week) OR TOO LITTLE (Once a week and less)
- VITAMINS FOR IMMUNE SYSTEM IMPORTANT, PREVENTS DISEASE WHILE PROSTATE IS INFLAMED
- ALWAYS KEEP SCROTUM COOL, HEAT CAN AGITATE IT
- REDUCE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION - IVE HAD MANY HANG OVERS WITH THE ADDED PAIN OF PROSTATIS.
If this persists after taking precautions SEE A DOCTOR, some STD's are slow developing so you can catch it just in time. However if you leave it too late... You could end up with a life threatening illness, a swab down your penis hole or a pin (to test for ghonoreah), or the loss of your entire penis and or scrotum. This is NOT something to delay

Thanks for chiming in guys.
Whenever I drink beer ,and then ejaculate,I have a burning sensation in my ding dong.
My solution was to sit on the toilet and drain as much as possible for about 5-8 minutes.
Since I was too lazy to get water (beer and marijuana do that folks),This seemed to work fine.
Now I realize it was deffinatley related to the alcohol.
Remember,
Happy wife ,happy life.
Happy chick, happy penis.

Evening gents,
Im proabably here for the same reason we all are, burning c0ck after a wank.
Personally it only happenes after 4/5+ pints of 4-5%+ lager.
The cure?
Before you decide to have a tug drink a pint or two of water and wait 15 mins... inconvinient i know.
But after you've bust your nut, go for a piss, and really push it out.
Should clear all the pipe work and you'll be fine, or at least mild tingle, rather than wanting to chop your own c0ck off burning.

:$ Guys... It could be a yeast infection.. I didnt know it but men CAN get them as well! I got one and was prescribed the Diflucan pill and was well in a few days but my Bf pressured me to have sex before i was completely well and guess what???? He got those symptoms that you all are describing. He also got a couple of bump type things right around the opening. We thought it might be herpes but when we went to the Dr. they tested him and it was negetive for ALL stds. they prescribed him the mods for yeast infection which are the same for men as they are for women, btw and... he was well!! I hope that is all that is wrong with you all! Be safe and get well!!!

This is actually quite common. It has to do with how you ejaculate. It can also happen during sexual intercourse if you have a partner who prefers to be on top. It is not an STD. The burning sensation is caused by your own seaman backing up into your bladder with some of it sticking to your urinary tract. If you are experiencing this, the best method for relieving it is to drink a lot of water immediately after the pain starts. This allows your body to flush out any impurities in the bladder and urinary tract. Within 15 to 20 minutes the pain should be gone. Be sure to always wash your hands before and after ejaculation.

hey guys ... that sh*t happends to me ... pisses me off .... usually happens after alcohol or not drinking alot of water or . jerking off too much ... my advice ... if you jerked off and feel burn ... Jerk off again ... because your sperm got stuck in your penis and its just sitting there not in a right place and that why you get this reaction ... so just jerk off again and try to push the f**k out of it and pee after words ... and dont jerk off that much .... BTW im sorry for my language im still wasted lol .... so yeah ... drink water ... just water .. try not to jerk off when you drunk/ tierd .. because you cant really push everthing out and it gets stuck ... and pee after you jerk off!!! ... hope that will help !!!

I can't believe how many people besides me are affected by this! And still there hasn't been a doctor to comment on this thread.
I'm writing this while I am experiencing this burning. I've had problems for around 13 years or so. Way before I ever had a sexual partner. I have also read that it may have something to do with the prostate, but haven't read of a single person who had it corrected. What a mysterious condition...
The info of not urinating before ejaculation is something I haven't tried, but will definately do. Urinating AFTER ejaculation though is pure bliss- a way to get rid of the "habanero seeds" in the urinary tract :-)
I feel very uneasy when it happens and it helps to sit down and be calm, since the entire pelvic area tingles with the pain. Sometimes running cool water over you crotch also helps a bit.
On the note of it being due to a too acidic diet I read you can amend that by not eating grains, dairy, and SUGAR. Drinking too much water can add to this problem (ref. ISBN: 9789171300805). So, big up on vegetables & fruit. Would be cautious on citrus though...
Hope this helped someone. Please post if you know what causes this problem.

Try non allergenic or skin sensitive laundry detergent the chemicals in the detergents over time cause some irritation to tip of penis from contact with underware.
Then during ejaculation the natural chlorine in sperm burns the tip where this chorine makes contact with irritation at tip. This is often the proplem. I figured it out because of 50 years of ejaculating from intercourse and chicken choking.
