Hi everyone, I've just come on my period or what I think is my period......I had unprotected sex 13 days ago, I'm just really worried that i could be pregnant, I've not done a test yet would this be my best bet?

well thats not exactly true is it....because my step sister got her period all the way through her pregnancy??
It's true that you don't have period when you are pregnant because there is no ovulation and release of fertile egg or shedding of uterus lining (simply because there is a baby inside uterus and it would harm it) . That still doesn't mean that women don't have period-like bleeding when they are pregnant, but they are usually caused breakthrough/ vaginal bleeding. And these bleeding also come about the time period was supposed to come if a woman wasn't pregnant.
mjr1987, it seems that you had unprotected sex just at the time of your ovulation, so definitely you have to the test and since it's been almost two weeks since than, pregnancy test should be reliable.
