For the past two months me & my boyfriend have been unprotected sex. I have talked to a friend that is pregnant and explained all of my symptoms to her. She told me tgo to the dr. but I was wondering how long i should wait before i can get a accurate hpt result.
the most sensitive test right now is first response. it gives 99% accurate results on the first day of your missed period, but can detected pregnancy up to five days before.
to piggyback on that its only about 85% accurate in those 5 days unless u use the first urine of the day....even then it only goes upt to 90...to save money it would be best to wait at least until the day you miss your cycle and even then use the first of the morning urine (even though tests claim this is not necessary its still increases your chances of having an accurate test)
