I awoke early this morning to a morse code type clicking in both ears and now hours later into my day, I continue to be annoyed by the 'tick'! I am a 80 year old male, in relative good health (with the exception of having been dianogised with Type 2 Diabetes a year ago - but I continue to manage the condition very well without any problems). Strange continious experience!!

No joke - I have the same issue with ONLY my right ear....
But disturbingly I discovered it isn't what I originally thought...
When I tried to capture the annoying sound with an old school tracfone voice recorder... upon playback there are actual whispers speaking... voices that should NOT be there...and when these whispers are amplified - they answer questions and interact with me in real time. I now have ironclad, timestamped evidence - We Are NOT Alone !!!

I have also had this tapping sound/pressure inside my right ear for about a month on and off. Tonight was bad, and it’s so strange to lie here and listen to it stop and start and stop. It sounds like it could be parts of my pulse or something alive inside my ear. I wish someone on here had an answer.

My dad is a retired ENT. I texted him about the noise/feeling and he responded with this: You have something blocking sound. Either wax in external canal that I could not see or problems with E tube making TM stiff. Need to see ENT.
