Ok,
This is what I did and it has been working pretty well. I have been using Gillette Clear Gel on the cleanly (the last time I shaved) area, over top of the bumps. It will keep them dry and thus does not allow them to spread. About two times per day, I pop all of the white heads, while keeping the puss on a napkin and not spreading it on my skin. Then I quickly clean the whole area again with Rubbing Alcohol. After I have done this and it dries, I reapply the deoderant to keep the area from getting or staying wet.
Now I am not a doctor but plan on going to a damn clinic or something to get it checked out. I too like one guy posted, had sex with a chick, and didn't have time to shower but drove all day long then was able to take a shower. Whammo the dots started appearing. Then I shaved, which spread them all over the place. The above treatment seems to have a good handle on containment, and irradication.
By the way, I asked the pharmacist at Walmart and he said I should use Neosporin as well, but after I applied it, it was staying all wet and c**p I didn't like the feel and thoght better of it.
I just wanted to at least post what I was doing, since everyone was describing the same thing it seemed.

ok, I am extremly freaked out because pimly things keep popping up on my butt or in my pubic hair. I have never had sex with anyone, and i've never kissed anyone but my parents(yah i'm pretty young). I havn't told anyone and I don't want to go to a doctor because just the thought of that makes me uncomfortable. I get alot of pimples, blackheads and more on my face, so i'm hoping these don't have anything to do with a desease. I have tried popping them but it very rarely works. I have also read about boils in that area, but i'm not really sure what boils are or how to get rid of them. Some one please help me, because I don't think that all this worying is going to help the ones on my face go away. ! ? :$

A bunch of pimples popped up in my pubic region (I have not had sex and am only 16) and it was from me changing to a different type of underwear that caused me to sweat more. I am in no way a doctor, but apparently this is very common for the pubic region.
Hopefully this information helps.
If the pimples are right on top of each other in clusters or appear on the penis / vagina needs to be checked out immediately.
Random pimples spread out throughout the pubic region not fitting this can come from sweating, stress, diet change all things that can cause them on the face.

Hi i'm not sexually active and i'm an 18 y.o female. I've been having odourous discharge recently and burning itching etc. also i'v been getting the sore 'pimples' in the pubic region that people have described here. in addition when i had my period last it was very painful and there is some pain now when i go to the toilet. could this be herpes? is it possible to contract herpes from a toilet seat perhaps?

I was curios about the same condition that you're describing here. When I saw that someone mentioned molluscum contagiosum I did a little bit of research on the subject and found, indeed, that that was not the condition I have. You can easily go on to google images and see the difference between zits and this bacteria. I also found that zits are perfectly normal in the pubic region, especially if you're a teenager. A few warning signs that they are not zits is when there are numerous "bumps" clumped together in one spot or they spread to your more "delicate" regions; watch out for signs of exuberant amounts of puss or blood coming from the region -- this could possibly be an std. Zits, however, normally come one at a time and are sensitive like any facial zit would be. I wouldn't suggest popping them because you wouldn't want to leave a scar on your pubs, now would you? If you do pop them, there will be a little bit of puss and blood, just like any facial zit, but if you don't want to, take a warm washcloth to them, keep them dry and clean at all times, and wear looser-fitting underwear - don't use any medications on your pubs that you use on your face; this could cause extreme irritation. Don't worry; zits "down there" are NORMAL!! If the problem persists or if you don't think that they are zits, it wouldn't hurt to see a doctor before potentially hurting someone else, or finding out that your problem could end up being extremely dangerous or painful. I hope this helps! :D

im a 19 year old and have this too. i visited my doctor about the situation and he told that it is from shaving. When you shave certain areas of the pubic area some of the hair folicles may get inflammed.
Ive also heard that you can get acne there as well....you can get acne just about anywhere.

dont worry about those little white bumps. its completely normal and happends to most men. those are just hair follicles that are filled with a secretion from puberty. i learned this a few days ago. just helping my fellow male friends out. its kinda scary when you first see them. if it still bothers you you can go talk to your doctor about them. it never hurts.

This is similar...i havent had sex in over a year and i just started datin this girl, but before our first time having sex, i had shaved my pubic area till it was bald, i think i had shaved too hard in the same spots or whatnot but, the next day where i shaved turned red and eventually into this annoying bumps with white heads i guess you could say...exactly like a pimple. I havent popped any of them because they are uncomfortable...i read about herpes and kinda described the way the bumps look but i thought to myself that i havent had any sexual encounters with any females lately but they are disappearing slowly as i take more and more showers...ive had them in the past but only a couple on my leg or somethin right where the hair grows out....hopefully its only a stupid annoying sore. My situation is exactly the same as everyone elses.....

its likely that my boyfriend might have hpv. im on bc and condoms really dont work for us, so i use another kind of extra bc. but we still have skin to skin contact meaning that i could have hpv. ive got this large bump under my skin on my pubic bone and ive had it before but it went away after scabbing up. i dont shave or wax so i dont think it could be an ingrown hair. it goes pretty deep and is kinda red colored. hurts like a pimple does. im gonna ask my doctor. but i just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.

This in many cases is an ingrown hair or a boil. You want to get antibiotics to treat this in most cases. Hospitalization will occur if not treatwed in a timely manner. Don't be a dummy. Go to the doctor. All we can do here is guess and thats just not acceptable when it comes to YOUR health.

I've noticed some similarities with many people here, but some differences as well with what I'm experiencing. About a year and a half ago, I had sex for the first time. I'm 16 now, and about three months ago, I got a few red marks on my inner thigh area under my scrotum. I wasn't sure what this was from...it may be stress, or always having a laptop on my lap, or maybe from her. Regardless, I tried to avoid scratching or rubbing as much as possible, because they itched like the devil...but there was no pain or anything like this.
Another thing I should mention before I continue, is in the beginning, they were all on the left inner thigh...then just recently, they began appearing on the right thigh...and now the underside of the scrotum itself is beginning to itch as well. I don't see any marks, but I'm not sure. I don't shave either.
The marks themselves are barely bumps at all, being very discreetly elevated. They are just red marks resembling a streak that looks as if it began as an ellipse.
I'm not sure if this is herpes or not, but I'm afraid it might be. She had been with a few other partners before me, I think.
I hope this description was thorough enough to help everyone help me.

I too had been worried about this, however, after researching a bit, I believe it may simply be Follicultis: I have been shaving the pubic area, and part of my post workout routine is to take a bath in the hot tub at gym, which consistently has foam floating in it. It could have been that I have been reinfecting myself every other day by introducing the bacteria (which is known to grow in these conditions) to the follicles opened from shaving - interestingly, when I took another look, the "pimples" only appear to be formed at the hair follicle.
I'm not sure if this will help anyone else (or even me!) I'll give the hot tub a rest for a week and see if that does anything...

My boyfriend of nearly a year is having the same issues. Those issues being that he has very tiny like pimples starting at his pubic hairline and continuing to the base of his penis. I tested positive for HPV 2 years ago, however these are not warts. He is 30 years old and in good health. I have been thinking it could be a yeast infection. Yeast infections in women are common and can occur simply because she is athletic and creates a warm moist environment for her vagina. (Yes, I am defending a possible yeast infection in me) Most men do not know that they can contract a yeast infection from their partner. Yeast infections on a man can commonly be confused with herpes. Yeast infections are also a parasite and need to be cured with medication. So stop playing around and go to the doctor. There is an at home test that I have read about for men to try that can help you calm down while waiting for your doctor's appointment. Place a clear glass of water on your bed side table before sleep. When you wake in the morning immediately spit twice into the water. (just spit...you don't need to get some flem going) If you notice the spit getting stringy and spiderweb-like it is most likely a yeast infection. The stringiness can be attributed to the parasite in a yeast infection. My boyfriend will be trying this test tonight/tomorrow and will go to the doctor later in the week. I'll let you all know what I find out.
