I have developed a very weird skin patch on my thigh. I looked online and saw some pictures of pitoryosis rosea. My patch looks similar to some of those I saw online. However, there is no rash around or anything else. Is there anything I could use for prevent this rash from happening? Thx in advance

You can’t be sure that this is pitoryosis rosea. Diagnosis of pitoryosis rosea is very difficult even for dermatologists. This patch you have may be a ringworm or eczema. Pitoryosis rosea is often mistaken for syphilis. I reckon you should see a dermatologist and do some blood tests or skin scraping, so that s/he can determine your condition.
