me and my girlfriend had unprotected sex while she was on her period. i didnt pull out in time. she said it was her 3rd or 4th day of her period. i went and bought her plan b the next day.
from what i have read a womans egg does not usually settle until after the bleeding. i guess what my question would be is --> how long does plan b work in a womans body?
i have heard you cant get pregnant while having your period. i have heard it is rare. and i have heard yes you can absolutely you can. i know it all depends on the woman. i have also read that sperm can last in a womans body for many days
i wouldnt be worried so much if she wasnt so worried, but she is. i just wanted to know. if the egg hasnt settled yet and she is still bleeding is plan b as effective while she is still bleeding? what can i tell her to make her relax a bit? i know nothing really but yea.

If she has taken the emergency pill, it will alter the lining of her womb making it unable to accept a fertalised egg, and induce a bleed, so her cycle may be a little erratic in the days to come.
The period is a less fertile time, yes, it depends on the womans own individual cycle. But don't worry, she should be absolutely fine.
