A poll conducted over the internet included 644 people who were considering a plastic surgery within the next two years. The poll showed that plastic surgeries were no longer just a wealthy privilege and that patients undergoing surgeries come from all income levels. It seems as if people are willing to keep a car for a few more years, so they can work the cost of the surgery into their budgets.
The results show that the age varies from 18 to 50 and older. It found that nearly 30 % household incomes of less than $30,000, while another 41 % had incomes ranging between $31,000 and $60,000. 16% reported annual household incomes of $61,000 to $90,000. Just 13 % had average household incomes of more than $90,000 a year.
Most of the reasons for undergoing a plastic surgery were achieving emotional, psychological and social improvement and improving a specific feature that dissatisfied them.
