I also had my surgery on 3/15/21 and my sutures came undone on the 21st and fell off the 22nd. I called the Drs office and they said this is normal. I saw the Dr today, the 26th. I too was discouraged and concerned that the hemorrhoids had returned but the Dr said it looks normal for 11 days after surgery and this is just the healing and swelling process that comes with this type of surgery and to give it time. I am trying to stay positive and optimistic that this will all be behind me one day.

No pain? Walked 5 miles? LIES

I walked a mile the day after my surgery. I also experienced no pain after surgery (which to be clear was cutting out multiple roids both internal and external), just discomfort when I go or I cough. I didn't take so much as a tylenol. I resumed my upper body weightlifting routine 3 days after surgery. I also didn't experience any pain after my wisdom tooth extraction ten days before my hemorrhoidectomy, so maybe some of us are just weird. I'm now 5 days post surgery and my stitches on the external one are gone which is why I came to this page.

This describes exactly how I feel. It’s horrifying pain. The spasms wake me out of my sleep hence I refuse to sleep right now. I’m 5 days post surgery with a few popped stitches. I will go back to the doctor or hospital tomorrow to seek medical attention.

You’re so funny! I just had the surgery too, and you’re spot on about the pain! I also feel like I need to go pee most of the time. Is that normal? Hope you’re all healed by now!

I just had a hemorrhoidectomy on the 29th and it seems that the pain is just getting worse as time goes on. Made a number two movement that didn't hurt that bad. I didn't push I just let it happen and focused on how I breathed. Afterwards cleaning off my bottom it feels like I'm being ripped open. The pain doesn't go away with meds it just goes from a 20 to a 10. Anyone else deal with this situation if so what did you do to help relieve the pain.

Yes that's VERY unusual to have no pain and be able to walk that far.. and also a bad idea to do that with this type of surgery as the friction on post op day 1 is traumatic to the tissue.
As a medical professional I must say I
Absolutely do not believe anyone walked 5 miles and no pain meds unless they are having mental health issues. Again no trophies for the raw tissue that creates. Not sure why anyone would post a message bragging about such a stellar recovery with people who are suffering. Egotistical and gaslighting

Gaslighting bull shxx
As a medical professional I have never heard of that kind of recovery from that surgery. Either you are very unusually fortunate or your enjoying making other ppl feel like your special . Regardless it was extremely insensitive to the suffering of other ppl to brag about your stellar experience.
