I've had my iud for about 4 years now, for the past 3-4 months I have been having problems. It started off with what I thought was a urinary infection, so i went to the doctor got tested and it came back negative they also checked me for a yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis both negative. My doctor went ahead and treated me for a uti and my symptoms didn't go away. Now I don't know how to really describe this but I feel like there is something stuck inside my vagina, and i am swollen and burning, I'm having constant pains in my lower stomach. I don't have insurance and I don't know what to do. I'm convinced that these problems are from my iud! Has anyone else experienced anything like this or have any advice?
