Less than a week ago, I underwent a LEEP. I have yet to experienced the the brownish discharge of the "paste" that I was told to expect, but unfortunately, I do have another discharge, the unmistakable white and itch-inducing one of a yeast infection. To treat the yeast infection, I took a Diflucan pill since if I'm not allowed to use a tampon is during my LEEP recovery period it stands to reason Monstat is out of the question too. Meantime, as I wait for this little pill to eventually do its yeast killing magic, I wonder if this my healing cervix could be harmed by this overabundance of yeast? Is this going to cause long term problems to my recovery?
