So for the past two weeks, my boyfriend and I have been fooling around regularly. Neither of us has ever has sex so the farthest we've gone is fingering and oral.

On two of these occasions he may have had precum on his fingers while he fingered me. One of these occasions was 2-3 days after ovulation, ejaculation happened in a condom afterwords but we continued fooling around and the other was 2-3 days before my expected period. Now I am around 3-4 days late for my period. Could I be pregnant? I'm starting to really worry, my period isn't on the normal 28 days so it's hard to be sure. Also I've recently lost 10 lbs in a short period of time, and I've been somewhat more stressed than usual so that may have messed up my cycle. What are the chances that I'm pregnant. Please help!

Dear Nervous

  1. The only way you can tell if you're pregnant is by taking a test.
  2. Pre-cum can have semen in it, particularly if he hasn't urinated since his last ejaculation
  3. Fingering by insertion into your vagina has a good chance of transference. If the fingering was just stimulating your clit, there is much less chance.
  4. Ovulation is usually difficult to accurately calculate. After two days, the egg probably is not viable.

I think the chances are low. But what are the cultural or religious implications for you if you are (I don't know your location or situation)

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be more help, or if you want to provide more detail.

Best wishes

Thanks Shepherd!
I think (hope) I'm just being over paranoid. If I were pregnant I would be either around 2-3 weeks, and the only symptoms I have is the missed period. Do you know of any other symptoms I would be experiencing around this time?
I guess I'll wait it out for a little longer, maybe my period is just coming late.
Culturally and religiously I should be fine, but it would be a really unfortunate experience to have to go through. :(

Symptoms vary from woman to woman. Changes in discharge might be noticed - or not. So there is really nothing I know of to say that if you are not experiencing certain symptoms you cannot be pregnant.

You may want to think about how you can avoid a scare in the future. Maybe draw up rules of play.
