I occasionally get behind a day on my birth control and lately I have been experiencing severe nausea (last 4-5 weeks). It comes and goes and is usually in the middle of the week. I have been really tired many times in the last couple weeks, with unknown causes. However, I got my period a week and a half early this month, or what I assume to be my period. It seems to be lighter than normal. So is there a possibility that I am pregnant? How long should I wait before using a home pregnancy test to check? If the symptoms do not stop I will be going to a doctor anyway, I just would like to have a heads up if I was pregnant.

Pregnancy can have so manys "if's" depending on the womans body. Some women don't even know they are carrying until much later in the pregnancy then normal, bleeding, not having a bump, etc. But if you have thoughts that you could be in fact pregnant, the best thing to somehow (how ever you prefer) take a test and find out as soon as you can.
