Never had cramps before when on my period and I started getting uncomfortable cramps in my lower abdominal a couple days ago and my period is about 4 days late. My stomache looks swelled near my bladder and I'm a tall skinny girl. So I noticed it right away. I'm 16 and my back has started hurting for about 2 days now, my balance has been off and I have had a headaches everyday for 3 days. Not horrible headaches but they hurt. My boyfriend supposedly is sterile(lead block?) And he's 18 bout to be 19. We have unprotected sex and dad stopped paying my birth control so I've been off the pill for about 2 months. We've had sex a bunch for 6 months, And I've never experienced this ... Other things I've found differently with me is smells. I can smell something from a ways away, I haven't had any nausea or thrown up. But every time I smoke a cigarette I feel sick to my stomach. Can anybody help ? Of course the boyfriend thinks I'm pregnant cuz he thinks he's ready for a kid but Im not ready for a kid at all. Oh & my moods have been bad. I've caught myself being grumpy. I just wanna know if I should go to a doctor? Or wait another week to see if I start my period? Or if any one else has had symptoms like me and knows what to do ...
since you have had unprotected sex there is a chance you could be pregnant. and symptoms very person to person, you could wait another week to see if you get your period, as it is possible your body is still calming down from coming off birth control. but if you really want to know then take a pregnancy test, with your first pee of the day (hormones will build up overnight so it will be more conclusive if you use your first morning urine).
