whenever i'm sick with something, cold, flu whatever makes me cough or sneeze a lot this happens. first it has to a pretty harsh cough or sneeze. but when it happens, about a second later, a steady harsh pressure will build in the back of my head untill it feels like someone is squeezing my head in a vise. It can be mild to severe, and it has affected my eyesight, even my sense of balance once or twice. after about 10-20 seconds, feels like forever, it will go away and not recur again untill I have another coughing fit. what could this be?
I too get the sever pain in the back of my head when I cough. Though mine builds until my entire left side and back of head is exploding in pain. Only goes away with a lot of time and rest. I believe this to be mini aneurysms. When we cough a lot of pressure is created in our heads. Then little blood vessels pop and it hurts. In my case, they just keep bursting.
i feel the same way, apperently its a bad cause of a sinus infection.
i suggest going to the doctors and asking them about maybe getting some decogestant medicine or something along that line.
Mini aneurysm? Sorry but you do realzie that would kill you, right?
