I have had similar sensation, especially on the top of my head, where i feel the skin is getting pulled. the skin near the top of the head is pulled and there is major pressure being developed on the skull. My doc indicates that this mostly related to tightened muscles, which remain in contraction and don't relax. I have found the problem to go away if i do exercise (Even 30 mins of precor, walk etc) is sufficient. I have a sedentary job, and thus lack of exercise is causing this.

I also have two discs in the spine compressed (lost the fluid in them) so this could be a side effect of that... Because of the lack of fluid in the spinal discs, the body needs to overcompensate to keep the torso in balanced position, thus the muscles get fatigued..

Lastly, i have a 'progressive retinal detachment'. None of the doc (retina specialist or my physician) are able to give me a reason for this detachment, it is progressive, and did not occur suddenly (because of accident or so). I tend to think that this constant muscle pull and pressure has caused the lack of blood supply to retina and it got detached. But all the doc refuse this theory, but at the same time they can't give any explaination for the retinal detachment. I was 28 when the detachment was diagnosed, and the muscle thing is cauisng me problems since i was 26 ~ 30 (4 yrs, yes..its damn 4 yrs).

Hi, Ive been having this for 15 months after I got a jaw injury from a tooth. Nowdays it's like a whirlwind going extremly fast, and it's causing my jawbone to break for some reason (you can accually hear it as it makes noise). It feels like its getting stronger and stronger, but I´ve experienced similar sensations before (after bone-injuru in lower and upper jaw), and for some reason it can stop when it as strongest - Its like the whirlwind suddenly gets stable. Sometimes its like pressure floating around in the face, and mostly in the forehead. It´s (mostly) painfull and it 99% gets worse when im going to bed. And yes it is indeed real, only nobody has a good explanation for it yet.

We are being sprayed with Aluminum, Barium daily.  Look up in the sky, and you will notice grids, X's and stripes. Some believe they are using Nano-Technology in this spray and it creates Morgellon's Disease.  These little nano bots can go into your blood stream and attach themselves to different parts of your body. They move and feel like parasitic bugs.   We need to stop this covert spraying program above us, for we are the guinea pigs of these mad scientists.

Please look into this. Most states have a group(s) coming together to stop this atrocity.

I have the same pulling pressure in my face, makes me feel off balance. I was reading on line and saw atypical face pain could be the cause due to nerves. I have had bad molars. Another thing is stress can cause alot of issues...???

I went to see my doctor but he was unavaliable so saw another doctor cos I had a sore right ear, the rightside of my face was tingling and there was this preasure build up behind my right eye, as the doctor touches my ear I pull away cos it gave me a fright, it was the sensation like hot n cold, anyway the doctor asked me if I heard of Bells Palsy and I said yes so h gave me prenisone for 10 days.
I started to worry, the steriods helped ease the tingling and my sore ear went away. I ended up making appointment with my own doctor and waited 5 days to see him and he told me I had upper sensation feeling and that it wasnt Bells Palsy as my face didnt drop and asked if anyone in my family have had heartattack or stroke and wat age, I answer yes and that was my father same age as me.

My doctor is truly awsome and i knew he would get to the bottom of this. I waited outside for my doctor to have private chat with a specialist from our local hospital and now Im going for a MIR scan. My doctor has put me on Asprin and told me to keep taking the steriods till I finish and we will see what the MIR scan finds and go from there......been a trying two weeks having going to doctors for a sore ear to MIR scan.

My eye still feels heavy behind and at times seems my face looks lopsided. I will come back and finish off with wat the scan will say. Go for second oppinions...Im jus glad I have the doctor I have cos he dosnt over look anything...as he says better to be safe than sorry

I have almost the exact same thing going on .. Even a 19 month old child . I am so tired of all these tests resulting in no answers . The only things that have been found so far for me is , low vitamin d , low b12, 2 or 3 deteriorated discs on my neck and an artery that pinches when my arms are at 90 degrees .. The vit d has been almost corrected as well as the b12 . I am currently waiting for my head MRI and am just terrified. I have had this for 2 1/2 years and am hoping to get some answers soon . There have been so many tests and specialists ... And nothing conclusive . I feel like alot of doctors just pass the buck and refer me to another doc with another wait .. I just hope and pray its nothing life threatening . Mine comes and goes when it's gone for a few days I feel great and hope its gone forever ., then it shows it's ugly head again .. Grr , I am so scared and I'm sure the stress and anxiety don't help . Let me know if you get any answers and I'll do the same :)

I sometimes experience a painless sensation of... pressure? I guess? within my teeth and gums and, if I focus on it, within my nostril cavity as well. This is completely voluntary on my part via mental manipulations and subsides with a thought, or at least, dismissing the sensation is voluntary and the sensation coming on seems oriented in some physical mechanism that I would believe to involve blood pressure, physical exertion or labored breathing, and perhaps muscular ticking.

To me, this sensation is neither worrying, nor aggravating, but merely a neutral sensation - sometimes an amusing or fascinating one actually.

Simply by my own personal observation of this phenomenon I would say that you're all focusing TOO HARD on the sensation, which, in my experience INTENSIFIES and REINFORCES it. What I'm saying is it's like your attention coming to autonomous body processes (Breathing, heartbeat) or learning to remember your dreams; The more you focus on it, the more about it you notice, and the more the experience reasserts itself within your neural network.

We're creatures of habit, and some of you may be building habits of A) noticing unusual bodily sensations and B) attributing negative emotions of fear, worry and irritation to natural, if normally unconscious, bodily phenomena.

I am not trying to make any of you feel silly or foolish, either. I am just trying to give you all a different angle on "Painless Sensations" and why we feel them.

I am 21 years old. About a week ago I started experiencing the exact same symptoms as what you described. I have not had stomach pain yet but the pressure in my face and by my teeth and nose, everything which I also thought was caused from my sinuses. I too am very sad, and stressed and as much as I don't like to admit it, extremely depressed. I wonder if that is why this is happening to me.
