Hi. I wrote here a couple of years ago (the whirlwind post). I recognice alot of the sympthoms that you are describing. From the nose-pinch, pains, swipe away with the hand (but it comes back fast for me at least). Preasures and pulling, like a magical force how strange it might sound. For me this is slowly getting better! And some times I can almost feel the release. I have experienced this a few timed during my life. In all cases, there has been a small bone injury involved. Once I got a stick in my cheek and had the sensation for some months. Then it (in a very strange way) stopped. Ive also had it in my lower jaw after pulling a molar. It lasted for about 3-4 months that time. In total I would say ive had it about 5-6 times, mostly in my youth and it was never very painful (but still very nice when it stopped). My current injury was bigger, and its still going on but moving towards the state of being good. My advise is to investigate if you have a "hidden" bone injury, for example if a molar is very crooked or problems with other teeth. Dentists does not understand this problem so dont trust them too much. I wish you all the best. You are not alone and im sure we can all be cured! I will read and update here again in the futute.

I am an energy healer and I started experiencing the sensations described in these posts since I started doing this work. I have a heightened awareness of my crown chakra, my third eye chakra, and the energy movements there. When these sensations get switched on, I know I am not grounded well enough. I do some breathing exercises then, ground myself, focus on my lower body, dance, move and the such. I take it as a kind of signal that I am not ready to fully understand yet, but I can develop to understand it fully in time. It feels like a magnetic pull, I used to think I have some 6th sense left similar to those of dolphins, pigeons and other animals which find their way using the Earth's magnetic field. At times I get angry with it, because it seems to be out of my control, but it does not hurt, so all in all, it is kind of special and fun :-)

I have been experiencing the same thing as the original post. It started about 2 months after I had my daughter and she is 9 months now. The sensation started in the corner of my right eye and spread from there down my cheek across my eyelid and up my forehead. Just recently it spread to my ear and my muscles in front of my ear below my cheekbone have been contracting and releasing. I have been to my regular dr. once and she said it was from ice pick headaches I was experiencing that damaged a nerve, that doesnt even sound possible but I'm not a dr. It does make me feel better to know I'm not alone but sad that there is no answer and that it hasn't gone away from any of you and some for 20 years. It decreases your quality of life and I feel like I am not present in my daughters life as crazy as that may sound. If anyone has answers please post.

I've been experiencing these same symptoms somewhere about 7 months.  All I want to know is - if there's a remedy to cure or subside the efffects of the numbness we're all feeling.  There has to be an answer.  I refuse to believe that its all in my head - like some of the doctor say.

Most of what you guys describe looks like Temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Check it out. Go to your dentist to have a removable prothesis that you wear at night, and go to a ENT doctor to get his advice and ask for muscle relaxant medication. I hope that helps some of you! Stress makes it worse, try not to clean your teeth.
