My son's tooth is loose and ready to come out. How do I pull it out? Do I push it forward/backward? Do I pull it away from the gums? Do I turn it?

Whenever my teeth is really loose i twist it left and right for a while until it is practically hanging by a strand of like you're gum (as weird as it sounds) then, you just pull it out. it is a lot less painful that way and little to no bleeding.
