I have major swelling happening up the right side of neck to back shoulder blade and under the right rib. It comes and goes. I live on anti-inflamatories , ice, physio. When it gets bad, up my neck I get pulsing echoing in my ear. it drives me nuts and swells into mouth, gums, etc. I was in a car accident a year ago, and doctors just say it will take time. I'm wondering if there is actually something in the glands or near ear that is damaged and could be fixed. I've read these blogs and some say it could be a valve clogged, other infection. would an ENT be best to example this, or rheumatologist?
