Im on the patch and i just had unprotected sex. while i would normally not worry about this i am on my last day of my patch (i take it off tonight) but i heard sperm can live up to several days in my body. could i get pregnant/ i mean minus the whole birthcontrol is only ninetynine percent effective argument.

The patch has still been giving you protection..It takes some days (even weeks) for the hormones to leave your system and your natural hormones to kick back in so logically you are fine...but...
Are you planning on going on with the patch? If so, get onto it asap...
Weird things happen.. If you can grab the 'Plan B' it will give you a sense of security. (that is what I would do.. but is probably overkill)
And yes... sperm lasts for five days... but as the patch has been stopping you dropping eggs I don't think you are in any danger just yet... you have to ripen an egg first..
The patch does not protect you against diseases though...sooo...
