My medical history is quite long, but overall my menstruation cycles have been regular. I always bleed for 5 days with a steady flow, it's always dark red and clotty. Anyways, I quit smoking about a week before my period was due. AF showed up a day early with an odd pink spotting for the first day and then the next day I was lightly bleeding, but it had some clots and was brighter than normal, and then the next day I only bled for half the day. I am trying to conceive right now but I don't want to jump to any conclusions that I might be pregnant. I took a pregnancy test but it was probably too early to tell. Overall my other symptoms do include breast tenderness and wild mood swings. Could quitting smoking have affected my period? I was also dizzy for 7 days after I quit smoking. I'm waiting to get in to see my doctor so I thought to look around online to see if anyone else had a similar problem.
