This is a fake reviews that was posted by DPM Silverberg. He goes on different forums and posts fake reviews trying to get patients. DPD Silverberg performed botched bunion surgery on my foot that left me in constant pain, never admitted what he did, ruined my life. Stay away from DPM Silverberg.

Hi, I have bunion surgery (lapidus procedure) scheduled for June 14. I am getting married on September 17. Do you think i will recover in time for my wedding? I need to be able to walk down the aisle, dance a little bit, and walk around all day?

Everyone heals differently but I would expect that you won't be able to wear heels for too long during the day so bring comfortable shoes with you. I was told by my doctor to expect swelling for 18 months after the surgery - and he was right. Plan your day carefully so you have lots of time sitting with your foot elevated as much as possible.
I had my surgery in May 2012 and I don't regret it for a second.

Finally some "uplifting" news! I am scheduled to have my left foot done (Lapidus procedure) on Oct 18 and, if all goes well, the right one will be done around Feb 2017. I have a positive attitude and a partner who will help me. However, I am having doubts the closer it gets to surgery. I am an active 66-year-old woman with deformed looking feet (hereditary). PERIOD! My bunions don't hurt … not at all. ONCE is a while I get a shooting pain, but only ONCE in a while. My shoes develop "bunion bumps" and my heel size is a "C" whereas the widest part of my foot at the bunion is a EEE. I hate having to always wear shoes that cover the bunions. Should I, shouldn't I? I have a high tolerance for pain. I would certainly like to hear from others who are happy that they had it done. I expect a long recovery and plan on doing exactly as the doctor tells me. I am well aware of getting muscle atrophy but that will become normal again. Patience is a virtue! I keep asking myself, "Why are you having this done if they don't bother you?" Am I nuts, or what? UGH!
