Mooglet,

I have had 2 years of problems with digetive problems. A good blood test is the first thing because it can test for problems with all of your internal organs. Your symptoms sound a lot like mine and I have a couple of problems. I can eat just a little and feel full. I can go all day and not really feel hungry. I don't digest food as good as I should so my body does not have the cravings as others do. certain foods will make me have diarea or even throw up. I can eat wheat, whole milks, anything hard to digest -- like potatoes. Another thing to consider is a problem with your pancreas. please have that checked out. They say that doctors often tell their patients they cannot find anything wrong until pancreaic cancer reaches the serious stage because it is so hard to diagnois.

I've had the same problems recently, I've been to the doctor, it's just a drawn out process of waiting for tests results. So in the mean time I've been google'ing every possible self diagnosis possible when I came across this year old thread. Needless to say, I'm scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound on Friday, as my doctor's first diagnosis after testing all my organs was some form of pancreatic disorder, the severity of which is still unknown, at least to me. Does anyone still have these symptoms?

You could be sensitive to gluten which can not only make you sick, but it can cause your body to be unable to absorbe nutriants which could be why you are so thin. I was recently having similar issues. I went to a nutritionist and she put me on a hypo-allergenic diet. No gluten, wheat, dairy, peanut products, raw veggies etc. My diet consists of rice products, meat, fruit, seeds, nuts and cooked veggies. I also take "Ultra Clear" which is a medical food in the form of a power to help cleanse my system. My stomach problems have been resolved, no more headaches and I have more energy. I am moving on to the next step in the diet on Monday. I will bring back one food group at a time and wait for a reaction to figure out what my system cannot tolerate.
You should consider seeing a nutritionist.

Wow, I've started to really doubt my doctors and what they've said to me, so I've recently started doing my own research. A little over a year ago, i got really sick, started off with nausea, and a generally tired feeling, and than got worse almost instantly. I was throwing up everything I'd eat or drink. I couldn't keep anything down, and what ever i didn't throw up, I'd lose just as quickly as diarrhea. This lasted for about 3 weeks and in the first week of this i lost about 17 lbs.
During those 3 weeks i had gone to the hospital and done all sorts of blood work and it all came back normal. They just treated my dehydration with a few bags of IV fluids. I was also sent to do GI track tests, both small and large intestines. Also Checked for parasites and all came back normal. After this i did feel temporarily better but i still constantly nauseous, but i wouldn't throw up after i ate, although it did make me feel more nauseous. That has gone on until about 1 month ago, where I've developed more symptoms. I didn't mention that since i got sick the first time, i have only had 1 day where i had a "normal" bowel movement.
Well about a month ago a started feeling super light headed, weak and nauseous, more than normally. But since I've been sick so long I ignored it, and continued on doing my every day normal things. Until I got a pretty bad cough, i was on my way to work and feeling extremely nauseous and debating whether i should just go back home and sleep since i was feeling very tired on top of my nausea, and i started having a hard time keeping my breathing normal, i felt my heart start racing and got really light headed. i got of the bus and all this just got worse. I believe i may have had a panic attack or an anxiety attack. But I've never had one before so i can't be sure. All i know is that i was really worried about passing out or throwing up, because i felt like i was going to do both.
Again after that, i made it too work, but was taken to the hospital because i was really pale and could hardly stand up. I don't know how i made it to work. They did all sorts of blood test to check just about everything, and it all came back normal. they did an electric cardiogram to check my heart because my heart rate was off, but that came back normal. and they just told me to go home and relax.
Well after that I, i took their advice and tried relaxing. but my nausea, light headedness, lack of energy, and constant irritability keeps me from returning to my regular life. I stoped going to work, and going out. Been going to the doctors and have done a few more test, which have all come back normal.

List of All my Symptoms: Nausea, worse in mornings, after i eat anything, and late nights. Upset stomach, gassy and bloated, sometimes to where its painful, light headed, slight pressure on the back of my head, loose/thin stool, frequent urination, occasionally very pale, sometimes with a slight greenish tint, pretty frequent head aches. Tired all the time, sweaty cold hands and feet, irritable, have become alot more emotional,(sad a lot). After any physical work, i get extremely light headed, and being in warm weather doesn't really help.

And by the way, i didn't mention I'm a 19 year old female. Reading all of your cases have helped a bit in what i should tell my doctor in my up coming appointment. If any one at all has any suggestions, I'm willing to try anything to get better I'm soo tired of this. Its affecting my life, and everyone around me too. My parents are so tired of me. If nothing works, they'll be sending me back home to see if the doctors there can help or find out what is wrong.

Sorry this is so long. I didn't want to miss anything.

I am a 29 year old male with the same symptoms the poster above has. I've done many of the blood work tests for h.plyori, liver function, and other related tests which all came back normal. I had an upper endoscopy done, ultrasound, and biopsy from the endoscopy all also normal except for a very small hiatal hernia which the dr said wasn't anything to be concerned about. Did your tests show anything that maybe I should ask my doc to check for? It's been 3 mos. now and still the pain and fatigue linger, I don't know where to go from here.

Check for exposure to viral hepatitis (A,B,C). I know its a little out there, but still should be part of the differentials. You can have IBS (I know it sounds almost cliche) especially after a major GI illness such as viral hepatitis.

About one year ago, I engaged in unprotected sex and about a 2 months later I came down with abdominal itching and RUQ abdominal pain. I never vomited or experienced any major nausea through all this.
I've been experiencing mid epigastic pain/ Right Upper Quadrant pain off and on since then. My stools are mucus filled and loose. They break apart during flushing. I haven't lost my appetite or had any weight loss throughout all this. Sometimes I've had this low grade temperature and my joints ache around my wrists and ankles. My tongue has a numbing/tingling sensation that just doesn't seem to go away. I am extremely tired most of the time even though I get more than 8 hours of sleep daily.

THIS IS A PARTICULARLY OBSCURE QUESTION, BUT DO YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH LIGHTS? I HAVE HAD STRANGE SYMTPMS SUCH AS THESE AS WELL AND THE DOCTOR WAS CONFUSED, ALTHOUGH HIGHLY HELPFUL. IT TURNS OUT I HAD A SYNDROME CALLED IRLEN SYNDROME WHICH MAKES NEURONS FIRE TOO RAPIDLY IN YOUR BRAIN WHICH THEN AFFECTS THE WHOLE BODY.

Hello Mooglet,

Sorry to hear your symptoms. I have similar symptoms as you and I have consulted a medical specialist for my problem. According to him, it could be due to swallowing of air, bacteria production or overgrowth, food or lactose intolerance, or increased gas related diseases like Celiac Disease.

Have you had an ultrasound done to look for tumors/cysts on your ovaries or uterus? I had these same symptoms and ended up needing to have a hysterectomy as I had cancerous tumors as well as hemorrhagic cysts on both! might be worth looking in to in your case????
