My eleven month old son woke up with a nasty looking red bump on his nose. It looks somewhat like acne, but I am sure that he is much too young for that! It really resembles a zit, including the little white head on top. It looks quite painful! What is this and do I need to be worried?
That sounds like chicken pox to me! Try googling "chicken pox" on google images, and compare your son's bump to the pictures that come up. Normally, many pox appear at the same time with little warning, but there are also kids who only get a few pox, or even just the one. If more red bumps appear, you can be quite sure that your son has chicken pox.
I have a small, hard, BB-shaped bump on the bridge of my nose. It does not hurt, and you can't see it. I squeezed it too much and the surrounding area is a little numb. Help! How to get rid off of it?
