Hoping someone might be able to give some insight cause so far doctors aren't helpful. A little over a week ago I had protected sex with a new guy. It wasn't but a few hours after that I had this burning around my clitoral area. Didn't think much of it cause sometimes that happens. Waited 3 days and the itching got worse so went to family doctor thinking it was a reaction to the condoms, they were good but hadn't used in a while. She agreed and seemed unconcerned and said it was a rash/irritation and gave me an oral steroid cause my skin is very sensitive to steroids. Took for 5 days did nothing. Called and she ordered triamcimalone cream and Zantac cause said can help. Still isn't helping ! She said I may have to make on/gyn appointment. I'm not sure what's up. No discharge. It itches some but it's slowly turning into more of a slight burn but like a rash raw burn. It's just very red, I'm wondering if steroid cream is making worse. I've quit using and stated using just Aquaphor (Vaseline basically) to keep it from rubbing and Benadryl seems to help some as well. In the morning the pain and redness internally is almost gone but as soon as I'm up and moving the pain and irritation begins. What the heck is wrong with me !? I've never had anything like this before but it needs to go away.
