I recently noticed i have these red dots ( contained to one general area) in my pubic region. I had unprotected sex once, and it was about 4 months ago...like i said I only recently noticed the dots, so when they developed is unknown to me. They do not hurt, itch, or discharge anything, i have been looking at numerous things online, but have yet to find anything that really explains and looks like what I have. Is it possible that it is a rash from my pants? or possibly a new soap or detergent?I haven't gone to a doctor yet as unfortunately getting to a doctor in my area is VERY hard. I am kind of scared that it could be herpes or some other virus.

It's not herpes but it could be mulluscum but also rash (dermatitis) from harsh soaps or heat.
