about 9 months ago, I decided to start trimming my pubic area with my electric razor/trimmer every other month or so......about 3 months ago, I saw a rash underneath my pubic hair....a small area of red pimpled dots....I thought is was razor burn....and I thought it would also just go away. However, when wearing jeans (the rash is right on the beltline) or having sex, the rash has remained to be there and depending on how much friction there is the rash will get redder.

I've been using a doctor prescribed cream for what he says is a fungal infection.....the rash is doing much better....and it looks a lot better....but it still hasn't gone away. It doesn't blister....and it doesn't itch....it's just discomforting, though I think the infection my have spread just a little bit....I have stopped shaving the area.....I guess I just worry about these things thinking that it may be a symptom of genital herpes or something....can someone tell me I'm going to be okay?
