Dawn makes mine worse than anything else, it even pops up on my feet worse when I use dawn. It seems to me that it is toxic and it is coming out in these small pimple, non-itching bumps and then peels after.

My daughter and I had the exact same thing, my daughter had red spots that seem to come and go and would itchy really bad, I took her to the doc thinking he would treat her for eczema or something like that, he said to be safe he was going to do a strep test as it had been going around and I was told she was very positive, whatever that means, so 10 days antibiotics, she finished the meds and its been 2 weeks it seems every couple days she is complaining of an itchy spot still.
I decided to go get checked also, I didn't have a sore throat but had the red, itchy spots on my hands and was also positive for strep. I am 7 days into my antibiotics and still have days when my hands really itch, I am hoping that as I get closer to the end of the meds it goes away.

I have had the "little itchy pimples" type rash in various places my entire life.  I get it constantly on my wrists and the back of my hands.  I was told it's eczema, but I feel that's a made up word/catch-all for "we don't actually know."  I would get a larger itchy bump on my hips, and I finally realized it's a nickle allergy.  Small amounts of nickle are in most metals, even ones that claim to be silver and gold. (source - my itchy rashes ;)  )    Doctors have told me that exposure to nickle in one ares of the body can cause rashes at completely separate sites.  The bumps on my hips -  from rivets in my jeans!  Sometimes I wear a piece of jewelry and I get a rash on my left wrist in the shape of a watch.  I haven't worn a watch, or anything on wrists or hands etc, for 20 years.  Even then, I only wore the watch for a couple years.  I sew small pieces of cloth over my rivets to solve the problem.  Right now I have it really bad on my right wrist and it won't go away.  I haven't been exposed to any metal that I know of, so I'm confused.   Shoot!  Just figured it out!  New towel bar has nickle in the coating!  Even it just touching the skin for a second will do.  Good luck all!

Everyone seems to have this problem here but no answers as to what it could actually be. I have the same little bumps on my wrist. My mother thought they were hives because I have had them in a previous case. My doctor took me right away but told me they weren't hives. He then tried to tell me that it was scabies (i think that is how you spell it.) I did some reasearch and it isnt even close. No one knows what it is. There are roughly 10 bumps on my left wrist and 5 on my right. They only itch from time to time and I just want them gone. no amount of anti-itch cream will make them stop. I'm not allergic to anything that I know of. I just want them to go away.  PLEASE HELP. Oh and they have been on my skin for about two weeks. I've washed everything multiple times and I'm just so confused.

I get this reaction all the time. -- I have a severe contact allergy to nickel. The reaction started as simple eczema, (dry skin, rash, red, itchy). It had been misdiagnosed as "heat rash" but I knew better. My reactions last a few days, and I have to stay away from nickel completely, I even have an epi pen for it. (Which is awesome.) I would go to a dr and get an allergy test done, focus on things you come in contact with daily.

I woke up this morning with red botches and pimply first on my legs, then on my arms then on my hands, and now they are on the side of my feet, the ones on the side of my feet hurt and the ones in the palms of my hands hurt, but the ones on my legs do not. Now I have a long what looks like a scratch on my for arm but around the scratches are like redness...then right at the folds of my wrist and palms they are breaking out?? what the heck is this?

Hi i have the same on my left hand. it comes and goes. got it the first time in 2013 in Italy. I went to several dermatologists and nobody really knew what it was. They even cut one out and sent it away for testing. Got it again 3 weeks ago, went away and back again today. Does anybody know what causes it or how we can treat or cure it?

Hi everyone, Some time ago I had an itchy patch on my left hand which would never go away! My daughter had it worse and her pediatrician suggested she had food allergies. I immediately cut out wheat, eggs, and milk from our diet. A week later I put milk and then eggs back in and nothing happened. When I put the wheat back in, bammo! We were itching like crazy. I realized that my making of homemade wheat bread for 2 years straight had done us in. I learned that having variety in one's diet is important. Our itchy patches have gone away, but we are still sensitive when we eat too much whole wheat. In my quest to be "healthy" I've also learned (through itchiness) that I'm allergic to buckwheat and oat bran, too. Hope this story helps someone.

I have experience the same problem on a few occasions. At first, I thought this was related to some moisturizer that I was using, so I stopped using moisturizers, but the pimply rash did not stop. It was then that it became very obvious that each time after I consume alcohol in excess, I develop the rash initially from itching, then the pimply development, and then the dry skin.
I have been applying herbal oil, which help with the dryness, but the actual itching, I guess it's an allergy that I have to live with? :-/
