My period is a normal 28 day cycle. Very rarely it is early, much less late. My husband and I have two children already, that is why I am terrified of the thought of being pregnant again, one of which is only 1 1/2 and the other is 4 and has a disability. According to the first day of my last period,Mar.6, my ovulation date was around Mar.20. My husband and I had sex the night of Mar. 17, we did not use any sort of protection, (condom, birth control, etc.) only the pull out method. Last week when I was playing in the floor with my two children, I noticed when they were crawling all over me, my boobs felt really sensitive and tender. I didn't think anything of it at that time, but here I am, I was supposed to start my period on April 3, two days ago. My period is normally very regular, every 28 days. Last night and today I have been getting my usual period back cramps that I would get right before I start, but I have yet to start my period. Everytime I run to the bathroom thinking that I am starting, there is only but a white milky discharge. I am not trying to stress about it, but what do you think?

Hi Guest,

If you had sex on the 17th, any sperm would still be capable of fertilizing the egg when you ovulate.  It can remain viable for about 5 days.  Sometimes women do have a white discharge as a symptom.  Did you have it in the past?

You can take a home pregnancy test now.  Be sure to use only your very first morning urine (wake up pee) for the best accuracy.

Good luck.
