I have read all of these posts and I too don't know if I'm pregnant???? I just recently began having my menstrual cycle as of April 2, 2010 it lasted it's normal 5 days. It was late in the month of May, it didn't come until the 15th and it only lasted 4 days that time. My menstrual cycle is always regularly 5 days and is always on time. This month (June) me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex, but my menstrual started 4 days after. Which made my menstrual a week early, so now I'm confused 8-| ....I want to buy a home pregnancy test and I have to get blood drawn soon and I want to tell the doctor to test me to see if I'm pregnant. But like all the other women in this blog I don't want to feel stupid. I know it can take anywhere from 12-48 hours for the egg and sperm to meet and start the fertilization process, which would have been Sunday (if it took 48 hrs). I guess I'll wait to see how long my menstrual cycle last and I think I'll take a home pregnancy test after. I don't know what to think if it comes back negative...like most of the women on this blog have done the same thing and the home pregnancy test was negative, but you still continue to have pregnancy symptoms. I try not to think about it, because I don't want to have mental pregnancy symptoms....

I feel so stupid posting on this because I am.15 year old girl experiencing these same problems as grown woman. First off I have had unprotected sex multiple times with a couple guys throughout the year of 2010. I always thought I was pregnant numerous times and I confined this in my friends they all said I told you so. I have had all regular periods except i did get my period exceptionally early 2 weeks ago. I eat so much now and I have noticed swelling in my abdominal area. I'm thinking I'm just being lazy but then I started to get dizzy a few times and today food started tasting very differently. Me and my current boyfriend have had sex 3 times over a 1 and a half month period un protected each time and he pulled out. On top of that a couple days ago I saw weird colors iand dots and I keep having dreams of baby and being pregnant. Also my nipples seem to have gotten bigger and so have my boobs. I feel so paranoid only because I'm so young. An honors student. And all that. I want to take a pee test but I'm scared because the woman on here said they took and they came negative and they were going tp a doctor for blood test. I can't go to a doctor for a blood test without my parents finding out and if Im not pregnant then it would just be a waste. Please somebody just reply I would love some advice

there is a blood but not a lot, and my stomach start to hurt. I got a doubt if this is a menstruation or not.
I went to see a doctor, and I got a UTI, then the test is negative. The Doctor said the the bleeding may cause by the infection.
But still I have a doubt if I am pregnant.

I started my period today, but for about the last two months have had pregnancy symptoms. I have not ever been pregnant and am not on birth control, but I reallyyyy have felt like I am. The period I am having gets light then heavy and vice versus.
Symptoms:
Nausea ( Not in the morning so much, more around foods, odors, and when I'm hungry.)
1 day of frequent urination ( I hadn't drunk any liquids and my pee was not yellow)
Exhausted/ fatigue feeling (Not laziness or preventable)
About two weeks or so after I could've gotten prego I was spotting
Extremely hormonal!!!
Two weeks plus of breast tenderness
Lower backaches
Major food cravings for a while
In July I had my regular period, then two weeks later (time around possible pregnancy) my bf slipped up and ejaculated inside of me so that day we went and bought a plan b pill. I took it. Then the day before I would normally ovulate he once again ejaculated inside. Thinking the first pill would cover it.... then we found out I should take another.... So day of ovulation I took a second plan B.
I had a normal period about 3-5 days after (end of July). I did not have one in August. I started today Sept. 17 and it's pretty light seeming for not having one in so long....
I had/have all these pregnancy symptoms and I have failed 3 at home pregnancy test and 1 blood in August. I am really confused because I was almost positive I was prego yesterday.
I'm going to get another blood test in 3 days!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one to have this problem. Thankss!!!

hi, I have been looking at all these different stories about women and periods while pregnant and im not sure if i am. In march of this year i had lost my baby at almost 3 months. That time i had no idea i was even pregnant until about 2 1/2 because i thought i could never get pregnant. oh and i had no symptoms those 3 months. Now i have had unprotected sex with my husband and i got my period this month on the 16th which is in the range of days (usually 16th 17th or 18th) but i noticed that my period was mostly discharge and not so much blood. I normally get my period for about 7 days and the first 4 are really heavy where I use super plus tampons and then I go down from there. This month I only used regular and light tampons which I have never done and it only lasted for 4 days. My breasts are bigger than usual and every week before my period I get really bad cramps (beyond belief) but this time I didnt. I have had some symptoms like being really tired, mood swings, nausea (no vomiting but almost to that point), cravings for certain foods that I normally wouldnt eat, and Im just hungry all the time and I'm usually never that hungry. I also noticed that my stomach is harder than usual and I thought oh ok well i have my period or something like it so thats what it was but my period is over and my stomach is still hard. Im really worried if I should even think of taking a urine test because I dont want to be labeled at the crazy woman who just has wishful thinking and I dont want to tell my husband because I dont want him to think that Im crazy (which he already does haha). So could someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me. I dont know what to do!!!!

I don't know what advise to give, since I don't have that experience ,but my friend had her period through her pregnancy. Normal, regular period and she didn't know about it till 3rd month :))) She went to a doctor and he said: Congratulations! It's a boy! and she even didn't know that she was pregnant :)))

Im nreplying because I am in a similar situation. I have all the symptoms both urine and blood test came back negative but the doctor thinks I may be so she is monitoring me so she knows about these kind of things. Although I am very different from you ladies, I have had my tubes sterilized. My period was late and it only lasted four days and was lighter than normal and no cramps either. I feel bloated even when not on my period. If I am I would be almost seven wks now. I noticed that my sense of smell is stronger and I have been craving health food and sweets at the same time. I have four children now so I know what pregnancy feels like and thats the way I feel right now. My tummy is hard and feels heavy. My bra size got bigger too but not the cup size. I drink more water and it feels like I have Braxton hicks contractions. This would be my fifth and I am hoping very much that I am as I have lost custody of my other four. So I want one more so I can raise and love. My boyfriend is thinking I am too because he has two kids by other mothers. We are both wanting this and I remain skeptical since I am fixed. But my doctor is monitoring me closely as she knows it can happen. I hope if I am that its not a tubal but I have not had any symptoms of a tubal. So wish me good luck and for all those who are wanting one i wish you good luck too!!

wow i know how ya'll felling i think am in the same place cuz i think am pregnant but nobody believes me cuz all the pregnancy test are negative even the blood test but i still fell diferent am getting bigger i feel something in my stomages i still have my period but its aliltle lighter and it last 2 days when they use to last a week, as a mexican girl i believe in people that gives massages so i talk to a lady that do massages and when she touch my belly she told me that i was pregnant so am so confuse i am right now i dont know what to do can someone help me???????

If your wanting a blood test done, just go to the er and tell them you feel like you have food poisioning, that you've been throwing up and having diahrea. They always take your blood and test you for pregnancy. Don't waste your time and fight with your doctor. Just go to the er. I can relate to some of you on this page. I felt like was pregnant. I never had this feeling before. I was sure of it. I had my period two days ago and it's starting to go away. I've never had this problem before. My cycle was always 5 days long with some spotting on the 6th and 7th day. The home pregnancy test came back negative. I also had a miscarriage last month and heard this could be normal with your first period after miscarriage. I was not far along when I miscarried, only 5 weeks. If I hadn't taken a pregnancy test when I missed my period and waited a week I would have never known I was pregnant. I had no cramping and the only difference I saw in my period(miscarriage) was some clotting. I was hoping I was pregnant as I have heard that sometimes when your pregnant with a girl, she won't show up right away on a test. I have three boys and had no problem with getting them to show up on a home pregnancy test. I took a test a week early with my second son with that equate brand and he showed up even on that.

Iv got the same situation also, well it all started when Iv got a work my menstruation become irregular so assume maybe it was just a stress so i visit my gyne she give me a pill Primulot N for 5 days and after dat she gave me a pill Climen on a 3 cycle month while taking those pills my menstruation quite normal but when I stop taking it become to irregular again and this month I have no menstruation but sometimes I have a bleeding or like spoting (brownish in color) I try doing preg test but it was negative. I dont feel going to gyne coz mybe she will give me again a lots of pills to take on and feeling like stupid I was pregnant coz what Im feeling right now sometime I will nausated, dizzy,headache, backache like someone stubbing at my back, have breast tenderness especially when I wake up in the morning, like my breast getting bigger also those nipples, my abdomen goes large like its swollen and it hard when I feel it, I have always gaining weight nowadays. Like I dont want to feel like Im pregnant bcoz my test is negative but why Im feeling like I am?

hello every one I have the same problem about four months ago I started to feel nauseas and I. Was dizzy urinating alot . Well I took like five pregnancy test and they are all negative went to the doctor and the urine in the pregnancy test they gave me was negative also so they send me home telling me I'm not. Well now at four months I feel like something is moving inside me but I think I just my imagination. Now that I saw this website I'm going to go for a blood test and find put what is happening if I am good and if I'm not I'm getting on birth control because I hate to always being worried if I'm pregnant or not. during my 1st trimester with my 1st child I had a normal period never crossed my mind i could be preggo cause I had my period couple weeks went by and for some reason I thought I was preggo I took 3 test and they all came out negative. I decided to take one more and the faintest line came up I still didn't believe I was preggo. Luckily I am a x-ray tech so I had one of the ultrasound techs take a look for me and sure enough I was 7weeks preggo and saw a heartbeat and everything!!! so it can happen i had a boy and the nurse said sometimes with boys the hormones are so low it will come up as a negative on a test i even took a test 6 weeks preggo and it was negative i made them take a blood test and it was a sure thing! now my daughter i was only 1 week preggo as soon as i peed on the stick it showed up immediatly must be something with the hormones in girls?? i also had a period when carrying my daughter my mom did the same thing with my brother and I
