I started smoking about a year ago and i would say i smoked everyday for six months straight till i quit smoking 3 weeks ago. I have read alot about smoking withdrawals and i haven't really suffered from any in fact i have had an opposite effect to them. Instead of restlessness, i sleep all the time now. Instead of having a hard time eating anything, i eat more than i did when i started smoking. The part i am struggling with is my memory. It has been about three weeks and instead of my memory getting better it is only slightly improving and recently i feel like the improvement has stopped completely. For example, i can't remember any conversations i have had with people, i forget small things like getting my change at a fast food drive thru, and i can remember activities i have done in the past like watched an episode of south park but i can't remember what happened in the episode. Or if i see a movie and you asked me five days later what it was about, i could only give you a very broad description of what happened. I am also having a very hard time articulating what i am thinking during conversations. i even repeat words in a conversation that make what ever i had just said sound awkward. I know i have abused drugs and im wanting to quit so does anyone have any advice if things will ever be the same or what i might be going through?
yeah i went through the same thing and im getting through it by reading on the internet.
You haven´t smoked for along time but one year smoking all day will give withdrawals but the peak of the symptoms is between the third week and the 6th.
I i were you i would stop this sh*t for good. I smoked for years....trying to stop now. If you smoke for years you will have pretty bad withdrawals like you already read on the net
Good luck mate
