Hello,
After the procedure you will be advised by your doctor what you should avoid and what you should do. You will need some kind of physical therapy so I presume that he will let you know about this and he will probably recommend you some facilities. I have heard that walking is great but I am aware that you are in great shape and that walking is too little for you but look at that on the bright side at least you will be able to walk.
Also maybe you could get involved into swimming but like I said you will be instructed by your doctor what to do and what to avoid. Good luck anyway.
