I used to shave my scrotal sac and i got an ingrown hair which turned into a pea size cyst uder the skin (internally) of my scrotal sac. I no longer shave down there only trim. I pinched and squeezed the pea size cyst to try to make it go away that was a big mistake it than began to grow and after 3 years it became the size of one of my testicles. I than went to a uroloigist who told me it must be removed to make sure it has not become malignant or cancerous, so i did sugery to have this (mass/cyst) removed. This was the bigest mistake of my life i should have never had that surgery i now live in pain everyday. i went back to the uroligist that performed my surgery he gave me ultra sounds and MRI's and said that he could see inflamtion showing up on my results but could not figure out why or where the inflamtion was coming from and thought it could possibly be a cut nerve from the sugery but i would have to see a nuerologist i seem to think it is from scarred tissue or a cut nerve or blood flow problems with the veins that run on the sac itself. This is like a nightmare not knowing what it is the pain used to be so sever that i would have to go to the E.R. and they could not figure out what it is either, we even tried all kinds of antibiotics including one for epidimitis it it defantly is not that, because it is the sace itself becomeing inflamed and in pain not my testicle actually it is exactly right where the surgeon cut me open an where my stiches used to be is where i keep getting inflamtion an pain thats why it leads me to believe that it might be internal scarred tissue but i am not sure. its been 2 and half years now and the pain is not as severe and 24/7 like it used to be but if i start to walk long distances or lift weights or become to active all of a sudden the inflamtion come back and i become in severe pain the only thing that helps the pain go away is not 1 or 2 but 3 or 4 500mg tylenols all takin at one time and ive tried other over the counter meds like aspirin ibuprofen etc. the only one med. that helps take away my inflamtion an pain is tylenol 500mg but 4pills every day of this for the rest of my life is not the way i want to live when i wake up in the morning there is no pain because i had been stationary all night but when i start to walk an become active here come the inflamation an pain. sometimes it gets so bad an i get so tired of it that i wish and pray to jesus to let me stay a sleep forever and not wake up :'(...... im so tired of having this pain can any1 out there please tell me if they have had experience with this and any ideas on what i should do or how to resolve this PLEASE PLEASE help me if you know what this is . thank you and god bless:'(
Paul, look into Amitriptyline to control what sounds like nerve related pain from surgery. It takes a few weeks to work, give it 2 months to see if you notice a difference. You really don't need much, 25-35 mg once a day at bedtime should be enough. Good luck.
