Yes! Angiokeratoma..you are correct. Good thinking with the dry ice too.
Am 31 and I discovered this last night. ..am freaking out because I have not seen a doc yet because everyone off for the season......
you have herpes
Herpes you have
You are the first that mentioned about shaving.... I think shaving DEFINITELY has something to do with it.
I like your style!
you are my hero! thank you for this simple and very effective solution. I have been trying to figure out what to do with these things for more than 20 years. I had a cluster on the right side of 15-20 in a size range from pencil tip to pencil eraser. They were quite noticeable and I saw more than a few ladies checking them out as they were smoking my pole over the years. I started developing more on the left side a year ago. I tried a few different techniques, but they generally were either too tedious or painful to really work. I took your dry ice idea and after an initial test went through two sessions of 'treatment' over 3 weeks. I applied the ice to each one off and on for about 1 minute. I tried to keep only the blister frozen and not the skin around it. They healed in a week and for the first time since the mid 90's I've got a sack back that I am proud to show off. ;) THANK YOU! I highly recommend this home solution.SOUND
I stupidly just popped one that I been having and it was bleeding for 45 minutes! I tried putting ice on it and it helped a little so now I have a cotton ball tapes to my scrotom witg medical tape so it will hopefully clot soon!
Popping them does nothing but make a mess. Having tried all DR and home remedies, I can only say go with the dry ice. Its easy to get at any ice store and cheap. It dissipates within 24-48 hours depending on how you store it, so be ready to work with it. The steps above worked perfectly for me. A couple notes: Pain is mild, face it your zapping your sack with dry ice, your balls will hurt for a day. Each spot seems to react differently. Some shrink - turn black and fall off in a day. Others go skin tone and eventually dry up and drop. Some will swell a lot and look really pissed off and freak you out because its super sore before they dry up and drop off. Others will seem to not react at all, seriously, and then a couple days later they dry up and drop off. The problem is, these things will likely come back for most, this approach at least makes it manageable by yourself. I tried everything from the DR zapping them off which hurt like a hell, removed nothing and only managed to piss the little buggers off and make them grow more, to lassoing them with thin dental floss, tying it tight to cut off circulation and letting them dry up and drop off. Now that method does work, but its tedious and slow to do by yourself and only good for the larger ones. Anyone with this, do yourself a favor, Get some dry ice and give it a try. Go slow, test it out, see how it works, try to keep just the blister frozen so you don't burn the skin. It's super easy.
Sounds like cancerbof the prick only thing to do is cut it off!
That was the worst advice yet bud ???
Wtf are they and how do you get rid
Wtf are they and how do you get rid
I have these blood blisters on my scrotum and they bleed like a stuffed pig when scratchedor popped. Should I be concerned ???
Hey, Just to add my voice to this, I've had these blood blisters on my scrotum for as long as I can remember, far before I was sexually active. I'm 33 now. I'm just now looking it up and pleased to find out it's pretty normal and has a name. I guess since I've always had them, I've always assumed that it was just some harmless quirk of mine. They don't hurt, and I ignore them, though there seems to be more than there used to be. No female partner of mine has ever had a response to them besides curiosity. I've also got other genital quirks, such as two holes and big scars from where my penis and scrotum were fused when I was born. So I'm used to my genitals being a conversation topic and am proud of the uniqueness.
omg - That was "A Long Story short"
I've had Angiokeratoma of the scrotum for years and probably first noticed it in my early to mid 20s where it wasn't overly wide spread. Now in my late 30s it had escalated significantly and to the point where it was having a significant impact on my sexual self being. With this in mind I hit the online forums to find out if there was some sort of magic cream to be applied or at the very least, what others were doing to treat the problem.
I settled on going to see a dermatologist for treatment via a laser (not sure which type of laser, sorry). The experience wasn't at all pleasant although it did go some way to remedying the problem. First, the lack of empathy from the Dr for what is clearly an emotionally sensitive problem was disappointing. Being told to drop your pants and then have the Dr respond with shock as to the extent of the problem was like, the “I was in the pool” moment from George Costanza in Seinfeld. Secondly, I'm pretty sure this dermatologist had never treated Angiokeratoma of the scrotum previously.. and potentially, the use of the laser she had available may not have been ideal (see pt 4). Third, the treatment process was very painful despite the application of some numbing cream prior. Fourth, the burning by laser created a ridiculous amount of blood, making it hard for the Dr to see each target and leaving me there for 30min with tissues to my balls to stem the bleeding and having to use lady’s pads inserted into my undies to make it home.. Fifth, for 2 days after my balls felt like like they’d been rubbed over a cheese grater.
So… enough of the background.. but suffice to say, I am talking from some base of experience.
The good news however, is that I feel I’ve settled on a much more manageable treatment option (not a solution. i’m afraid we’re stuck with this problem, so the best we can do is treat it to lessen the visibility and impact on our sexual self confidence). My treatment option is based on online forum research (some people had recommended versions of this), my treatment via a dermatologist and the treatment I administered on myself twice.
You will need:
1. Numbing Cream (I used NumbSkin Cream, which contains 10.56% Lidocaine)
2. Antiseptic Liquid (I used Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil)
3. Soldering Iron and 3xAA batteries (I used a TradeFlame 4.5v 6w version. Available at hardware or hobby stores)
4. Ointment to relieve and clean (I used Lucas’ papaw ointment)
The process as follows:
1. Apply numbing cream 30 min prior liberally all over the target area (tip, use some cling wrap to cover the area and before placing you’re undies back on)
2. Apply antiseptic liquid to the soldering iron tip (tip, i used Q tips to apply)
3. Direct the tip of the soldering iron to each target spot (tip, apply very gently. i found that you’re sort of singeing each spot rather than popping it.. possibly what the Dr should have been doing. You will hear a little pop or sizzle and the area will turn white)
4. Rinse off in shower and carefully dry the area (tip, by now the numbing cream will have worn off and the area will be sensitive so go gently)
5. Apply some ointment
6. Regularly apply ointment, keep area clean and dry and avoid getting too sweaty for a 2 days..
7. For 2 days it will be a little uncomfortable (but nothing like the cheese grating laser)
8. Each spot will look a bit nasty, like a small burn for a while as the dead skin falls away.. but you should be good to get back out there in a week.
All the best.
