I have had this problem too.As a nurse, you need to know that some staph infections could lead to death. Some bugs that you introduce that way could cause you to be septic. Some infections now have no antibiotic that will kill it.In the old days you could take antibiotics if you got an infection in this area. The world of bugs has changed..Be very very careful.

I have had a very similar if not nearly identical issue regarding my ballsack and the original post. I have true empathy for all going through this. Before you and others bash doing the treatment yourself ask yourself these questions. Have you watched videos such as the ones on YouTube where people get these removed? Often it seems to me at least the doctor is either impatient and does more damage then necessary or the doctor is patient at first then does overly invasive cyst removal later as patience wears thin. It is one thing for a paid person to make a change to your body but helping yourself means you have full control.

Secondly like you I have a lot of these and mine arw noq quite small. I can't even count them. I dont know how many you or others have but would you really want to get dozens to hundreds to even a thousand of these removed at once or in a few surgeries? I personally have hundreds and have been removing them under a couple hour long sessions under some alcohol, dihydrocodeine, and codeine with breaks at my own pace. I am considering adding lidocaine. Being able to remove them at your own page means you can judge how much you want to stress your body at once.

It is also cheaper if you don't have healthcare but i do and this is not a factor for me but could be for others. I use a staple. I really should disinfect but I honestly do not which is my own choice. I am going to start disinfecting however.

Also I have gotten bleeding balls a lot but I am careful as anyone could be and find even if I sever a big blue line of bloodflow or cut an accidental hidden vein i may bleed a bit but it is really not that much. Even in my worst bleeds if I apply pressure the bleeding stops in two minutes or less. I have never lost more blood then 35ml in a bleed and my bleeds are usually approximately

To anyone on this site looking for help, the easiest way is sergical removal, go to your local doctors surgery and show them. Busy make sure you say it’s uncomfortable or just painful, otherwise they won’t get it removed through the NHS. The only other way for sergical removal after that is private and that is not cheap, along the lines of hundreds.

My removal attempt was a fail. The cyst was so hard that rather than a fluid, or a "rubber-like" substance, I had what was basically like a white, wet, chalky sand. The stuff that came out had the consistency of some of the sandy facial scrubs that women use that are really gritty (i.e exfoliates). I used a needle (sterilized) but it took a ton of work (should have gone the scalpel route). The cyst wall was so hard that it bent both ends of my tweezers. I sterilized clippers, tried using that to get the wall/"seed" out but couldn't. I pushed and tugged with all my strength but, at the end, I could not get it out -- it was rock hard. So now I'm sure that not only will it grow back, but it will likely be so hardened that any other self-removal attempt would be futile/dangerous... I bled a lot; thankfully I was in the shower with the water running but cumulatively, there was quite a bit of blood. I thought it wouldn't stop and that I would have to go to the emergency room but thankfully it did. However, I'm fearing infection at this point given how hard I was working at it and for how long (I was at it for about 30 to 40 minutes; at first the blood was little to none but the further down, closer to the "seed" the worse it got). Praying at this point... hate to think that I may have made things worse, risking other things, because I wanted to do it myself. I believe it worked well for others, just didn't for me. BTW, mine was about the size of a small marble, had been around for over fifteen years, and was pretty hard -- so (in hindsight) probably should have known better.

Just had one removed from my scrotum. The shots to numb the area around the cyst was a bit painful, however, well worth the visit to my dermatologist. The procedure took 5 minutes. Stitches have to be removed a week later. Nothing to be embarrassed about as derms see this quite frequently and are professional in the removal process.

All you've gotta do is get something that is sturdy and sharp to cut the top layer of skin covering the white lump, then cut the white sack of oil or fat (or whatever it is) and then squeeze it out. Do this for the ones that you think might be a little too big but make sure you have sterilized the tool you use and afterward use tissues or something to keep in your pants to soak up the blood because it will bleed. It may hurt a bit but it's an effective way of getting the job done yourself.

Refrain from using sharp blades, try using something that snips, and good, such as a pair of wire cutters.

After the scab heals over there shouldn't be any remenants.

Hope this helps!

I’m not sure where you are located but look up Dr. Sandra Lee (she’s located in Upland, CA). She’s a dermatologist and see/treats a lot of different cycts. She has a website and utube channel and is a Godsend to her patients.

Your response was of so much help! Thank you for guiding me in the right direction! I just booked my surgery 2 weeks from now and have been surching the web relentlessly looking for photos of how the procedure results look! Can you send over some pics? If that’s not to much of a bold request.
