I went into the diner just before noon today and they had The View on the TV behind the counter.
In general, I don't care for that show but Whoopie was on at the time and I do like her.
She mentioned that she wanted to clear something up. Apparently someone on another show had said she was sexually abused when she was young and she wanted to make it clear that wasn't true. But the way she said it was interesting.
She ended by saying, the only one who abused me was me.
Baba Wawa looked shocked when they opened up the camera shot to show the rest of the girls and the other two were more surprised looking. The audience was silent, then slowly broke into applause.
Did she say what I think she said?
On TV, to the whole world?
What do you think?

Wow. Well, it takes a lot of courage to say something like that and I'm glad she spoke up. But that's a very intense thing. I'm glad that she set the record straight though because I was under the impression that she was as well. What do you guys think?
