I get shooting pains in my vigina/womb, not like period pains. Shooting pains inside me. Is this common? Has anybody else expereanced it?
I've had the same pains in the past and never found out what it was. If it keeps happening then see a doctor but if its just now and again you just have to think that its one of those things
hi steph i was just searching for shooting pains in womb as i have exactly the same they are absolutely horrible i have 2 shout out sometimes. i know what u mean by ther not like period pain.. the pain is like a fast shocking pain. i get this pain maybe afew times a month and all i can think of is do i have some sort of infection i really hope not and because its a touchy subject it puts me off going to see a doctor but am going to have to. if you want to email me my addy is ******its good to no someone else is experiencing the same thing its not good for u but u know wat i mean lol. hayley from liverpool :)

I got the same thing!!!!! Did you ever find out what it was, I am 40 yr old female, and the pain almost fills like labor pains that come and go. I find if I sit down it hurts worse in that area, the pain shoots up like around my belly button area. Can anyone tell me about this???
YES, YES, YESSSSSSS, NOT ONLY DO I GET THEM IN THE VAGINAL AREA, I GET THE IN MY FEET, MY BUTT AND OTHER AREAS. WHEN VAGINAL, I FIND HAVING SEX HELPS BUT THEN AGAIN HAVING SEX HAS ALSO STARTED THE PAIN - SO SEX AGAIN TO STOP IT.
THERE ARE AND AREN'T TRIGGERS. SOMETIMES MY FOOT TOUCHING SOMETHING COLD CAN TRIGGER THE PAINS. WHEN THE WOMAN SAID SHE WOULD CRY OUT DUE TO THE PAIN, I KNEW THAT SHE REALLY UNDERSTOOD WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO ME. NOW THAT WE CAN DISCRIBE THE PROBLEM, DOES ANY NO A SOLUTION OR WHAT THIS IS CALLED ???????????

I had the same pains in my vagina and uterus and it came to a point where it was constant and I couldent walk anymore. I went to the ER, had a cat scan and found I had leaking ovarian cysts.
I am 40 and have had back 2 back yeast infections.Dr gave my Diflucan plus 2 antibiotics the second time.Lots of problems with breast too. Anyway lately i have been LIGHTLY SPOTTING & getting extremely SHARP SHOOTING pains from inside my vagina to my belly button or higher. Had hysterectomy 20 years ago. No periods. What is going on /. I feel like I'm being stabbed!

I have been having similar pains, not so much shooting, but a constant slow thob which is more uncomfortable but noticeable. It feel like the pains are coming from deep in my vigina, and sometimes my overies. I have had a tubal ligation, maybe the pain has to do with that?
WOWWWWW, I thought I was the only one having this pain. I have been going to doctors for years about this. I am at the point of seeing a specialist for endrometrious. I am scared, but need answers. Some days I can not sit flat because the pain shoots out of me so strong and hard. I just was answers. ?
i get this really bad pain way up in my butt like labor pains and it will only last for a min or so and then go away i had a baby a year ago and i never had the pains before havin my baby. im only 21 years old!! this is not fun at all to get these pains i wish they would go away
Most lightly just a urinal tract infection (UTI) a doctor can normally diagnosis this just by asking you questions and would normally just put you on a short dose of antibiotics but if you don't like the sound of this drink lots of cranberry juice so the infection can't stick to your cells and lots of water which flushes out the infection if it persists see your doctor as it may have risen to the kidney or bladder

Hi, Just Been Reading Through Your posts And I Have The Same Problem, Its a Bloody Nightmare, Im 19 And Started My Period When I Was 12 But I Have Had These Pains Since Then, They Usually Start A Week Before Hand, And Have Found Recently That When I Go For A Wee It Seems To Start Them Off (God Knows Why) But They Are So Severe That At Times I Can Hardly Walk Or Move. Its Like Shooting Pains And I Feels Like They Are Coming From The Womb And My Bum, As When Go To Sit Down I Get A Shooting Pain All The Way Up. I Really Want To Know What This Is As I Have Been Getting Them For Years, I Found When I Got The Implant A Year Ago I Never Got The Pains But Had To Have It Taken Out As I Was On My Period For Like 6 Weeks And Couldnt Cope, But As Soon As I Had It Taken Out The Pains Came Back. I've been having the same problems. It used to be just like once every 3 to 4 months. Now lately,its been 3 to 4 times a day. I'm having the stabbing,shooting pains up inside of me and around my anus at times,too. Sometimes I feel pains down in my pelvic region also. It stops me in my tracks! Ugh...well,I don't know what it is,but its my plan to go make an appointment for it this Monday.
