I am 16 years old and have recently changed my contraceptive pill because the side effects were unbearable. I recently started getting shooting pains in my breasts which are so painful. I became worried and visited the doctor who checked me over and said that there wasnt any sign of breast cancer and thats when I changed my contraceptive pill ut even though i have ust changed the pill the shooting pains in my breats are still unbearable and I dont know if its because of the pill or because of something else. Does anyone else feel the same and know what to do? :-(
It is very likely that the hormones (from bc pills) are causing this pain, have you noticed any specific pattern or they just hurt all the time.

If you can't stand well hormonal contraceptives, maybe you should talk to your doctor about getting a non-hormonal like IUD. It can also have side effects like cramping or occasional spotting and in some people can cause low iron levels but you may be better with this type of birth control.

Talk to your doctor about your options
