After everything I have read about multiple sclerosis, it seems to me that osteoporosis is a common complication of multiple sclerosis, or rather, those who have multiple sclerosis are much more likely to also develop osteoporosis. Do you think that everyone with multiple sclerosis should have a test for osteoporosis?
Personally, with the osteoporosis rates in multiple sclerosis, I am all in favor of standard tests! Undiagnosed osteoporosis can bring its own complications such as broken bones and the like, and it is definitely very important that people are diagnosed as early on as possible. I am not sure about the diagnostic process for osteoporosis, but I think it can be done with a simple x-ray.
