Hi my name is Melanie from Grand Rapids,Mi. I'm only 39 yrs old. My shoulder was so bad I had to have a half shoulder replacement. It was my only choice my shoulder was in bad shape. I just had my surgery july7th 2016. He said I was way too young for this surgery but my shoulder was so messed up it was my only option. Hey mate thats terrible, about your shoulder im also young 30 and have arthritis on my glenoid side of my right shoulder ive been dealing with pain for four years now, ive seen countless top shoulder surgeons from around the world, they all say i will need a shoulder replacement in the future, but to wait as long as possible until i cant deal with the pain any longer as im to young to get it done now and will have potential problems with the replacement wearing out and my need revision surgery. Im also getting desperate ive found it very hard to find information about other young people needing this sort of treatment any advice or feedback would be much appreciated, ive got lots of anxiety about what the future holds for me.

hi i am a 39 year old male who was also in a bad accident years ago and my shoulder has been killing me but as a restaurant owner i never had it checked until recently and the only reason i went to the doctor is because i took a bad fall and felt something pop.so the bad news came in and my doctor is reccomending a total shoulder replacement do to the damage done to the bone over the years. i would love for you to give any info possable i am very nervous

Mona, how is your shoulder doing today? I have been suffering from excruciating pain in both my left and right shoulders with my left needing a total replacement and my right a partial or hemi cap replacement. I hope you are feeling better and would live to here your progress. Thanks TJ

Had one of mine replaced, best thing I ever done. Have a doctor who does them daily. Never took pain mess after surgery. My doctor was the best in he northwest.
