I also started taking Diane-35 to treat my acne problems and it was worked very well.
When I first started taking it, I experienced some soreness in my breasts. After a few weeks, that faded and I have had no problems since. My period is very punctual every month. I have been taking it for almost two years now.
I will be stopping it soon though, so I hope it'll be a smooth process :(
i think, its the withdrawal syndrome you are experiencing. After depriving the body from what it used to have, it adjusts. Side effect is the "side" effect of the therapeutic effect. Therefore, it has to be existing while taking the pill. Remember, these are hormones we are taking. We should be cautious in taking even any other medicines as the only difference they have from poisons is there dose. Apart from that, there are also what we called idiosyncratic reactions for medicines. It means that while others could possibly react positively for the pill, some others could not. That is why, although two heads are better than one, we should acknowledge that our bodies/genes, whatever, differs. So, we can't just say that this is good, and this is not. Doctors advises are always a necessity. Even I as a pharmacist would suggest strongly to that.
yes... i stoped it after six months...and i feell achually same these days... i was prescibed as i have pcod. i am lost in another world.
have you seen all those deaths in europe from this drug,and fraud in clinical trials? stop taking please

what do you mean deaths? from Diane 35? I have not heard of this. all i know my emotional outbursts are over the roof and I my breasts really sore.
I have been prescribed Diane 35 for my PCOS in order to make my periods more regular, and to reduce some moderate symptoms of PCOS. I was told by my dr that if I took this for 3 months I could stop after that and I will have my periods regularly and also may be able to ovulate.
I have been taking this pill for only 3 days -- but recently ( i am always on/off the pill) I have taken Brenda, and Juliet. I gained a lot of weight on these pills and was also told that by taking Diane 35 I would lose weight, and my skin would be clearer (never had acne, just a few spots).
After reading these posts (as i googled it as I'm always sceptic to what I take) i found articles saying that this pill has killed people and have found that the side effects are pretty terrible! As it's only been day 3 it's hard to tell, but my skin has turned terrible already! As well as feeling veryy tired today and easily get cramps/tingling. I am sure I should stop.
None of you may know - but other than diet and exercise, how can I treat my PCOS and perhaps ovulate one day? It saddens me to think I wont have children.
hi miss, just want to ask about what topical antibiotic acne ointment does your doctor advise you to use because same here with me i am suffering of Acne and i was about to use Dianne 35 because some of my friends advise me to use this pill bec. they said it is really helpful for acne. But then i am having doubtful when i read your post and im so thankful for your concernn for us. I hope you can also help me with my concern. Can you please share to me the ointment that your doctor advised you to use. Does it really help with you? Pleasee help me.
Hi my dear friends,,,pls advice me. I after I deliver my son april26last year...I just start usin Diane 35pill jan 12, this year 2013. My prob is I was on vacation here in Jadummy mom supposed to send me new pack prof it but It was late...this feb 3 the last time I take Diane,,,,I got period ;feb 12 stops feb 16/then I had sex with my bf 26feb I had bloos until today march1...pls advice. Me shud I continue staking Diane of I stop it....
Is this normal when you stop Diane 35pills you wilhave e menstrual early,,,,the firmonth. I used pill jan 12 I finish feb3i got period 12febthen 16/after I deside to stop coz of my mom was delay to send it...new pack to me...then I have blood again feb26 up to 'arch march 1....pls advice me

I've heard people say its okay if its monitored and you're taking the right dose.
I honestly DONT think its okay under any circumstances. As far as I am aware the pill is banned in a lot of countries and the ones that are actually selling it prob do it because of money they get from the company that makes it...
Initially it wasn't even supposed to be used as a BCP but I don't now how the company got around it and started selling it as that too (it was supposed to treat acne)
In any case, there are a lot of terrible cases, terrible side effects. never ever take diane 35

i took diane 35 for 3 months and finished the last packet almost 4 weeks agofor the first 1 and half weeks i took diane 35 i was really moody (not good when working in retail) It also makes you hungry all the time..but after that nothing bad ever happened didnt even have one break out not even when i got my period!most exciting time of my life haha , i could use any brand of makeup and moisturiser , face wash etc AND NEVER EVER BROKE OUT!i was in heaven ! After my last pack finished didnt experience any bad symptoms..until this week (4th week of not taking)
i have three pimples now but i just think thats because of uni stress..

I want to seek answers about my situation in taking Diane 35 pill... I finished my 2nd pack of pill and it was March 13, 2013 Wednesday and a day after taking that I had a small spotting which I supposedly to start the 3rd pack of Diane 35 so I started taking the 3rd pack because that was my LMP... but i just wondered because it was just a small spotting. I was just one day and next day it will completely stop but and I am still taking diane 35 until now... Because as I observe in my period it wasn't normal because my period will last 3-5days.... Guys, is it normal bleeding? is there anyone can answer my case? or Am I suspected pregnant? If I will do pregnancy test I will still wait for atleast 1 week or more than from the date I finished my 2nd pack...Do I need to take pregnancy test because I just rely this pill for birth control...Thank you soo much
Hello ladies, im now on my 6th day tablet of althea, some say that it is the same as diane35. Im experiencing terrible side effects. I feel bloated and nauseated, too much gastric acidity, headache, knee pain, sluggishness and sleepiness.. My husband is an ofw and is coming after 2 days. I want to stop the pill but im worried that my mens would come sooner. He would only stay for about 18 days
