Because prozac can work as a sedative, many of the patients first starting out on the drug can feel tired and listless. It is not uncommon to want to stay in bed whole days after starting prozac. Insmonia, headaches, sweating, a dry mouth and a blurry vision are also not uncommon. When you take prozac, you should take care to stay well hydrated. This can prevent some of the side effects.
