Ive had this problem for a while now and it seems to have just got worse over the last 2 days, on the bottom of my left Palm i keep getting this reaccuring spot that get itchy and then goes away after a while but this time all the skin in the affected area 1.5cm (roughly) is dying and peeling off badly, i can't feel it so i know its dead skin, my brother and father suffer from dermatitis so i know its not that and ive been told by my girlfriend it could be psoriasis but none of it seems to fit, its really irritating and it affects me badly because i have to handle food and it gets irritated

Dermatitis is a general name for any inflammation on the skin, so dermatitis that other members of your family suffer from doesn't necessarily have to be the same type. It sounds to me like that area of your skin has gotten infected (that is why it's still dermatitis), but in order to know for sure what exactly is causing this to happen (it could be anything - from virus, bacteria, fungal - seems to me like it probably isn't viral infection because it doesn't spread), you'll have to see a dermatologist, especially because you are in contact with food.
