I have been taking orthotricylen for about 3 months. Typically i skip the placebo pills and start a new pack immediately because a) i continue to be sexually active.during this time and wish.to be protected and b) i wanted to postpone my period.
I have skipped the placebo twice now (at the end of my latest two packs) and have been spotting/ bleeding for about a week and a half. I assume my body is trying to have a period, so i planned to stop taking the hormone pills in order for it to happen.
I am about 1 week into the new pack and want to know how stopping the hormone pill at this point will affect ovulation. What is my risk of getting pregnant should i have sex before or during when i have my period without the hormone pill?
