Half a year ago I noticed a bump on my penis. I had noticed it while I was erect. It is only as big as a bb, if not slightly smaller, and appears white through my skin.
After examining it over a course of time, I noticed that the bump was set in place, and could only move circularly around the point it was connected to my shaft. It could somewhat be squeezed (essentially squeezing the skin above it and the bump) and reduced, but would come back in no time at all. My guess is that it is something related to blood.

Now, half a year later, it seems slightly worse. It takes me little time to detect it when I am flaccid. It is not as big when flaccid, but it is there, detectable only by touching (no visible distortions). When I am erect and the lump comes out, the outline of the lump can be made out in some form. The bump can get VERY hard when I am VERY erect with my partner.

I know it is not an STD (same partner, always condoms).

What is it???
Thank you in advance for your help !

hey man,

check out some pictures of fordyce's spots. they are small hard bumps caused by sebacious (oil) gland in your skin they become more aparent when you have an erection... they are normal and nothing to worry about... i cant say if they are that for sure because i dont know what your spots actually look like but they sound like they could be these.

how old are you?? and do these bumps feel like little sand grains under your skin>

thanks

Looked up fordyce. Quite sure it is not one. It is a solitary bump, and it is relatively large compared to what an average fordyce would be. Definitely does not feel like sand grains. Rather, it feels like a bb (for the majority of the time, softer than one though), and changes how pronounced it is depending on factors I am unsure of (when I am flaccid sometimes, mainly after I wake up in the morning, I will feel around for it and it will be very obvious to the touch of a finger).
I am 18 years old. I hardly worry about this bump in terms of anything life concerning, but for my sexual confidence, it can be deterring.

Thanks in advance for your help and for your response.

i think it may be some type of cyst. like a fatty cyst. they are not lifethretning but i'm not a doctor and even if i was i wouldnt be able to tell you much with out examining it. you can most likley have it removed then it should help your sexual confidence.

although i;m not sure why you are letting something like that bother you. isnt it in a place where your pubic hair would hide it? (if you dont shave) also perhaps it would add a little more pleasure to your partner.

Thank you for the input,

It is actually next to where my foreskin would attach to my shaft, but still on the shaft area where the skin can move freely. The bump is attached to the shaft not the skin, and can move from a certain point on the shaft only a certain amount (similar to if a baseball was put into a normal sock, and the end of the sock were nailed into a pole or something. The movement is limited to a circle). Seems to be more pronounced more often now.

Any other people with a similar case or knowledge of this?
Should I see a urologist? I haven't seen a doctor yet because I do not know who to refer to (I basically only know of my pediatrician).

I would start with your pediatrician he can then refer you to a urologist if he thinks its necessary. it still sounds like a cyst.

get it looked at and let us know what you find out
