You have a right to be concerned. This is not a normal side effect of smoking pot. Side effect being something not desired and typically unpleasant at best and serious at worst. I am assuming this is not the first time you have smoked pot and are concerned. This does not happen with unadulterated pot. Something else like fungus, mold, chemicals such as insect spray is involved. When a pound of pot costs what a 1/4 ounce does today, it was always a concern that you weren't getting medical quality goods. It was often easy to smell mold, even sometimes a strong chemical smell such as insect spray.
From your information I assume others either didn't have any of the same pot. If others did have the same pot, same amount more or less and nobody but you had problems, one of two things can be answered. If other people participating didn't have any reaction or any since, the problem you are now experiencing isn't the result of the pot, unless your reaction was unique. An example is aspirin. The vast majority of people have normal pain relief. A very tiny portion of the population is deathly alergic to aspirin and the first asprin kills them. This is true for virtually everyting we touch, breathe or injest.
If by chance you think it was the pot or something in with the pot, you need to give sell or throw this away and find another source. A headache and dizziness could be an allegic reaction. If this is the case try an antihistamine such as benadryl or Allegra. Both are over the counter. Benadryl is a sleepy antihistamine in that it makes you drousy. Allegra advetizes itself as a non-drousy medication. A lot of headaches are resolved with caffene so a Starbuchs Mocha with an extra shot of espresso could do as much good as anything else. As far a being dizzy, this is a big question and a bigger problem. An allergic reaction to something like mold can lead to a 'head cold' complete with an unintended infection which fits your symptoms of headache and dizzyness.
The same symtoms you describe could be something quite serious. If you feel you are really sick, as in 'this is an 7 on a scale of 1 to 10' you need to get yourself to a Doctor. Depending on your age, general health, weight and normal activity level, you may have unintentionally exposed an underlying condition where a Doctor must be seen. An example could be high blood pressure, which anyone with high blood pressure has had a headache with dizziness. High blood pressue is a silent killer so if this shoe fits, put on both and get to a Doctor.
As far as Doctors are considered, they are bound to confidentiality with their patients. Although I would recommend total honesty with any Doctor, if this is something you just aren't comfortable discussing, go with your symptoms and let the Doctor look for something more serious than smoking weed. The greatest probability is it isn't the weed that caused the problem
In my experience, a very small number of people who try pot do not tolerate it and one reason is exactly what you describe, headache and dizzyness. These people just can't smoke pot. Again, with the information provided, I can only assume this was not your first time so it is fairly safe to assume you are not reacting to pot. I know of no strain of pot that causes your symptoms if in general other times you had no issue with weed.
In short, your problem is most likely something that was in the weed that has affected you. If your problem lasts a few more days or if you feel that you have something going on see a Doctor
I know this topic Is very old and the user might not check this post. But I still want to try!
@Alan Derrick: did you recover? Did the dizziness went way??
I'm having the same symptoms after smoking weed...
