Alright, so last sunday I had sex and the condom broke so I took a plan B right away. on friday I had this urge to pee but it would be right after I already peed and nothing was in there. I got tested for a urine infection but came out negative then a yeast infection and that came out negative. I started spotting saturday and stopped on monday but I still have an urge to pee in the morning and ill drink alot of water and it will feel better. I also started on birth control this sunday... My body is being so confusing... is it possible Im pregnant or just side effects of all the hormones??
I understand where you coming from cause I have the same problem,,lost my virginity on Saturday and took morning after pills within 12 hrs after and as of yesterday have been peeing more than usual,,,& straight after i pee i want to pee again and when the last drops of pee come out it hurts,,there's this funny sensation that comes with it that's making it uncomfortable to pee and have also been spotting,,,i bled a little afterwards like two hours after we did the deed,,he didnt really fully penetrate cause it was really painful but the tip went in,,anywayz thts just the same cause the slight bleed means my hymen is broken,,,i cant sleep,,but I read somewhere that these might be effects and reactions to the morning after pill,,,????
Hi there-
I don't think you're pregnant. You don't have any pregnancy symptoms and you're doctor would not have put you birth control if he/she felt you could even be pregnant. Your body is likely reacting to hormone overload. Plan B is just a high dose of birth control, then you're on more birth control, it might take your body a while to adjust. Spotting and/or an early or late period can be expected after taking Plan B.
Also it takes 30 days for birth control to become effective, so if you have sex again in February, make sure you continue to use condoms.
The urge to urinate and then nothing coming out or in mickey's case pain during urination are usually a signs of a UTI, if that persists then go see your doctor again.
Best of luck and no worries!

I think it's hormones! If you took the morning after pill you should be okay.
