Hi my son is 12 years old and has aspergers, for the last few months he has been complaining of a fuzzy head, cannot concentrate and feels weak and tired...he had an ear infection last week and antibiotics but throughout that he still is complaining his head feels fuzzy, he is not himself at all and i am at a loss what it could be unless it is related to the ear infection but as i say that only started last week where as he has been unwell for a couple of months,, he has also had absesses in his mouth on and off for past year and his toe has hurt and was swollen but thats ok now, i really am at my wits end, school are worried as he really is not himself, we have been to the doctor every week and they have tested for diabeties which can back fine, i am wondering if its an absess on his brain due to the possible toe hurting and last year a dr in A&E thought he might have one on the top of his spine but no evidence of this, could it br=e his ears causing the fuzzy head? the waiting list for ENT is months so i am going to go private but wondering whether it should be Neurology that i aim for any help would be more than gratefully appreciated.
